Had a phone interview with HR. Nothing difficult, 30 minutes or so.

Had interviews at the office after the first round. Most questions were behavioral questions and were quite similar. Found myself repeating my answers with different interviewers but I'm guessing they were trying to ensure consistency in the answers they were getting. Had a presentation about the company for a clearer understanding of the role and how the department fits into the company. Also had a writing sample- again, nothing difficult.

Single on-campus interview, with single interviewer (manager). The interviewer came across as intentionally abrasive. There were no case studies or technical questions, just general background and interest questions. The interviewer could not readily explain the position for which they were interviewing candidates. Follow-ups to the interview were sophomoric and opaque.

    Interview Details

I applied online and was contacted within a few days by the hiring manager who requested to schedule a phone interview with me that week. The phone interview was approximately 15 minutes long, most questions were conventional where he asked me to talk about myself and my experiences. At the end of the phone call I was asked to come into the office for multiple second round interviews.

Very easy-going, they always make you feel comfortable and frame the interviews like normal conversations. Low stress, but definitely require a decent amount of technical knowledge.

The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Cambridge Associates, LLC in April 2010.

    Interview Details

Applied through listing on the school career center website and was contacted a few weeks later by email to schedule a phone interview. The initial phone interview was with a QA engineer with whom I walked through my resume. The interviewer also answered my questions about the company at the end of the interview. I was then contacted by email to schedule a final round interview by phone. During that final interview I was asked technical questions, what I knew about testing, and they also asked me some brainteaser questions. A few weeks later they called and emailed me with an offer. The interviewers were pretty friendly and brainstormed along with me while I was thinking about the solution to the brainteaser questions.
