    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Carl's Jr (Los Angeles, CA) in June 2015.

    Interview

I applied online then called in to ask if they were hiring. They said they were so I went in 2 times in the next 2 days to talk to the manager. The manager asked me to come in 2 days later for an interview. I came in waited for 5 minutes and then the manager asked me 2 questions. It was less than 5 minutes I kid you not. The main reason it was so short is because there is a huge language barrier. 90% of the staff's first language is Spanish. Meaning if you don't speak Spanish you're gonna be in huge trouble trying to understand each other. After those two questions I was asked to come in 2 days from then to get my paperwork and all that worked out. It was a very fast process I started right away.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Carl's Jr.

    Interview

Applied online, then I went into the store to introduce myself. I went in about 3 or 4 times in a month since the manager wasn't there all those times. After going in so often I practically knew everyone and was given an appointment by a shift leader to speak to the boss. At the boss' meeting he asked me two questions and gave my papers to sign and finally told me to come ready to work 2 days later.

    I applied in-person. I interviewed at Carl's Jr.

    Interview

Interviewer is usually the general manager or assistant manager. The assistant interviewed me, sat me down with paper work (orientation papers i believe). So, if you win over the interview your hired on the spot.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Carl's Jr (Colorado Springs, CO) in March 2015.

    Interview

I basically walked in, asked for an application, and was hired on the spot. A few days later, I was asked to come in to bring two forms of identification and I was working a few days after that. The whole process lasted about a week. I was very briefly "trained" for the job (about 20 minutes of the shift leader giving a tour).

    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Carl's Jr (Los Angeles, CA) in January 2015.

    Interview

The restaurant I wanted to work at had to be applied to in-store so I went and asked to see the manager who showed me where the applications were. I filled one out and turned it in the next day to the manager who said he would send it to corporate because they had to look over it before they could hire me. He said it would take a week or two to process so I went home. A week later he called and said I could come in for an interview. So that weekend on Saturday morning at 10:30 I went in to meet him. The manager showed up 15 minutes late, but I waited for him and we didn't even end up doing the interview. He just gave me a bunch of papers to fill out and I got the job then and there. He gave me the uniform top and told me to get the rest of the uniform (black pants, shoes, etc.) so I could call him on Monday and come in to work on Thursday. I think that even if I did the interview it would have mostly just been a formality especially in fast food joints since the turnover rate is so high and they need new workers all the time. Easy to get hired, but hard to continue enjoying the job since the customers can be a bit bothersome and the drive-thru can be pretty stressful. I like my job, but it's definitely not a permanent one.
