    Interviewed with the Service Supervisor and Branch Manager. Completed in less than an hour. Was hired as a temp that day. Had to work 3 months before an offer was extended. Negotiations were brief as the details had been ironed out during the 3 month temp assignment.

    After two on-campus interviews, I got an on site and went to the Syracuse. I was interviewed seven people one by one. They asked me a lot about technique questions and some of them would go through my resume and ask questions based on that. Besides, They required me to give a 20 mins presentation after lunch time. The schedule for one day was tight,

    Interview

    Initially contacted after a career fair Interviewed with two different people from management along with one team member and the HR coordinator. The interviews were very friendly and focused of establishing what past history I had in HVAC. They had co-op paperwork ready for me after I finished the interviews. HR typically only gives you a week to get back with your decision.

    • Most of the questions I received were based on past experience. No technical questions. They may ask you to relocate to another facility that is not the same as the one you interviewed at.   1 Answer

    They added some compensation for plane tickets for trips home over the course of the co-op. They were very kind but only gave a week or two to make the decision.

    Had a telephonic and skype interview, and then face to face. The interviews were complex. Had to answer with scenarios. Interviewing manager needed real life scenarios. Asked detailed questions as well.

    They use a recruiting service to get you in the door then you interview with the hiring manager. I actually interviewed with the cooling manager.

    There was none they have base offer of 15.50 an hr no benefits from them but the temp service offers medical and dental but who could afford it on 15.50 an hr.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Carrier (Ashburn, VA) in February 2011.

    Interview

    The interview process consisted of the initial interview at a recruiter sponsored hiring conference. After receiving positive feedback from the company I was invited to their office for an onsite interview. This consisted of meeting with the original interviewers as well as the regional manager, field supervisors, and the coordination team. Overall the atmosphere of the office was positive and it appeared as though there was an encouraging work culture. Following the onsite interview, I received a phone interview from the HR manager. A few days later I received an offer for the position via phone call from one of the managers. The salary was not negotiable and as a result I declined the offer.

    I applied through college or university. The process took a weekinterviewed at Carrier (Syracuse, NY) in October 2008.

    Interview

    3 interview incl 1 from hr, 1 from tech manger and final on site.

    Overall, the interview is smooth, hr did not ask any difficult questions. For the final on site interview, a presentation is given, and 3 different technique people asked some engineering questions in a group meeting. I got lucky that they asked a tough question to another candidate, and I think he fell. The question is: why do you want to relocate to NY, this guy said his girl friend is close to here. I don't think they are satisfied.
