I applied online and the process took 6 weeks - interviewed at Chrysler in November 2013.
Interview Details – I was interviewing for HR Intern at Chrysler. I applied online and was contacted about 4 weeks later by Career Office at my university. I was scheduled to interview 2 weeks later. The process was challenging but relatively predictable. I was asked to talk about myself and my favorite and least favorite classes. I talked a lot about my projects, seems that team work is really what they are looking for. There were also 3 behavioral questions that used STAR. Questions were about building trust in a team, I found this one hardest to answer. There was also a question about my most innovative idea. Also asked about challenges with a project and how I overcame it.. They also ask if you had any questions, and gave me some good insight on their company They were doing a lot of notes, but were very, very nice and seemed interested. I will hear if I'll get an offer in early December
Interview Question – Time when you had to build trust in your team and how you did it. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – As an intern I wasn't really negotiating. I was happy with their offer.

Interview Details – I spoke to some representatives from Chrysler at my university's career fair and left them my resume. They contacted me to schedule an interview the next day. The interview took place on campus in one of my university's interview rooms. There were two engineers from Chrysler performing the interview, which was behavioral based and was composed of only 3 questions and lasted 30 minutes. The interviewers were very friendly and fun to talk to. At some point I was also required to submit an online application through Chrysler's website. I received an email within a couple of weeks saying that I was being offered an internship.
Interview Question – I was asked to give an example of a time that I had created an innovative solution to a problem View Answer

I applied through other source and the process took 3+ weeks - interviewed at Chrysler in October 2013.
Interview Details – Met the hiring manager at a job fair. Spoke with him briefly and gave him my resume. He called me a week or so later and informed me that he had a contract position open that he would like me to formally interview for. He was very helpful in getting me in contact with a contract agency to represent me. As soon as I had a formal representative, we scheduled an interview. The interview was one-on-one. He asked the 'standard' behavioral interview style questions (i.e. tell me about a time when you... what actions did you take? What was the result? What did you learn from it?) along with a less formal, conversational series of questions. An offer was made within 24 hours of the interview. I am pretty certain the process was expedited for my situation because he knew that he wanted to hire me from our conversation at the job fair. He just needed to go through the formal process to make it happen. It also was expedited because the hiring manager knew I had another offer already available to me and had to give that offer a response within a few days.
Interview Question – Nothing was asked that I felt to be unusual. I don't generally like the behavioral interview style but was prepared for it. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I had another offer already available to me. I told my contract agency representative what the other offer was for and they were able to negotiate a higher rate than the other offer I had.
