I applied online. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Cintas (Greenville, SC) in June 2015.

    Interview

Went through 3 interviews but it was easy and enjoyable. I had a great time actually! Things went fast and I got a tour of the plant that day. The people I met were friendly and it just seems like a great company to work for.

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at Cintas.

    Interview

Several telephone interviews and a face to face interview. The questions were probing and challenging. Requiring deep thought into past work experiences, specific situations, posing conflicts and resolutions, the entire circumstance and outcome. Made for a challenging interview to answer relatively quickly and to be thorough.

    Interview Questions

    • Tell me about a circumstance when you were challenged by an unhappy customer and how you were able to overcome and resolve the situation.   Answer Question

    Sales Representative - Uniform Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in West Palm Beach, FL
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5+ weeksinterviewed at Cintas (West Palm Beach, FL) in May 2015.

    Interview

The hiring process took a month.

    1. Interview with sales manger (This will be your direct manager, so he only sends you forward if he likes you)

    2. Interview with facility general manager

    3. All day ride along with a senior sales representative (All day interview, keep your guard up, this person is NOT your buddy, but they will act as if they are. Be very friendly, but professional. Show eagerness and appreciation for their time)

    4. Interview with market sales manager

    5. Interview with VP of sales (At this point, it's yours to lose)

If you are offered the job you will have to submit references which a 3rd party will handle. You will also go through a background check done by a 3rd party and finally a urine analysis.

Remember this is a sales job, so close the sale. Close more than once if needed. It's better to ask more than once because it shows you are not afraid to ask. Overcome objections given to you and try to close again. Leave in a positive note.

Treat all phases like a sales call and presentation... If you have a brag book, whip that bad boy out and show your presentation skills.

A lot of STAR format questions. The facility GM is the only one I felt cared about those. The rest of the interviewers use more off the cuff questions.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

There were no negotiations... I tried but they would not budge.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at Cintas (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2015.

    Interview

I applied on their company website after finding a job posting using a search engine. I got a call from their senior human resources manager within 48 hours. I was scheduled for an interview. During my time with them I was interviewed by the Sr HRM, Sales Manager, GM, and HRD, all in the same day. All of them were very nice and cordial. The GM was a little more difficult. They all asked questions using handouts and all sessions were enjoyable, challenging and rewarding. All professional and efficient.

    Manager Trainee Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Cintas.

    Interview

They first had me complete a virtual interview, which I thought was pretty innovative and cool. After passing that step, they brought me in and had me interview first with the service manager and second with the branch manager. I was not expecting to do two interviews so I was a little drained by the end of it. It lasted a little over an hour and a half. They were very nice and accommodating to me however and I recommend applying here.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Cintas (Westbrook, ME) in March 2015.

    Interview

Easy to apply for and hear back from them, but there are many rounds of interviewing and they are very slow to find dates that work for their schedules. They were friendly and showed you around the different parts of the facility.

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Cintas (Columbus, OH) in March 2015.

    Interview

Comprehensive interview. Begins with HR rep, then a couple other regional employees, then a GM. They do not support MBAs or go beyond undergrad degrees. Everyone is very amiable and I never felt like I was being made to feel uncomfortable to see if I could handle pressure. High retention.

    Interview Questions

    • Standard, situation questions. Pretty laid back, they allow you to skip questions and not feel strongly penalized for it.   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

Received a very promising opportunity elsewhere in an industry I find more interesting.
