30-Minute Phone Interview: The interviewer went over my resume and CV. She did not ask any technical questions but asked several soft skill questions to get to know my personality. SuperDay: I had 2 S&T interviews, each 20 minutes long. Both interviewers went over my resume and asked several market questions and brain teasers.

    Interview

Applied through campus recruiting. First round phone interview about 40 minutes. Mainly talked about the market, math questions (stats), guestimates, econometrics, and interest in this position. Then invited to the final round interview. Interviewed with 6 people, from traders to directors. Mainly talked about everything on my resume and my interest in this industry. Some technical questions but they tried to make sure you have the ability to learn on the job and you have the passion for this industry.

    Interview

Citi is known for its notoriously tough interviewers, especially in Sales and Trading. The most important thing to remember is that they are looking to see how the interviewee handles pressure. Avoiding showing frustration is positive, you should always remain calm even when they are challenging your answers or being rude/demeaning (very common!). The interviews are definitely technical, so don't bring up information during your stock pitch that you don't know backwards and forwards.

    Interview

I reached out through my university career service portal, and was invited for an interview by HR. My first round interview was with a managing director, and we spent more time in the interview talking about how unprepared and unprofessional he found the students he was interviewing. Past that, we did spend some time covering my resume, but he was more focused on a financial background that I did not have (coming from an engineering background).
