The application is available online, and it is easy to complete by giving your basic information and also upload a cover letter and a resume. A follow-up email from the recruiter is received the second day after I submitted the application. We set up a phone interview and the process was fast and easy.

    Interview Details

I attended a career fair at my university website and applied through the Citi website. I got an email for scheduling an on campus interview for the next week. The interview was fairly laid back and conversational, and the interviewer talked about himself for most of the time.

The process of interview is pretty much what you would expect from a typical interview. However, the interviewers have interviewed so many interviewees in one day so that they got tired at the end of the day. So if you are one of the last few interviewees in the day, you may find the interviewers being tired and their voice are low. It is much more difficult to impress them given they barely have the energy to dig into you.

    Interview Questions
    • Be prepared with technical questions. They may ask you basic questions about their products. They also ask about your computer skills or programing skills if you mentioned it on your resume. Some candidates say they were asked a lot of questions about database.   Answer Question

The process was actually very quick and easy, with a few phone interviews leading up to a San Francisco Super Day. 9 candidates for 4 positions. Met with almost every asset class trader first, then one on one interviews after. Very market oriented questions, you need to know what is going on in the world

Applied through my career center and was asked to interview a week later. The interview was somewhat different for me, given that I come from a business (non-technical) background. The interviewers were pleasant but not overly enthusiastic and the process very much felt like going through the motions. They seem to be looking for a certain type of person to hire (I already had project management experience, but they didn't seem all that interested).
