I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)).

    Interview

Application followed by numerical testing, a skype interview and then an assessment centre. The assessment centre was a full day including several case interviews and several personality interviews, as well as an additional numerical test. Fairly standard cases with comps and fundamental investment analysis. Personality interviews pretty standard for banking.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)) in April 2015.

    Interview

Got fast tracked to assessment centre from Women of Tomorrow Programme, found out very quickly and attended a assessment centre held the following week. It involved three interviews, a presentation on a company for which we were given a couple of hours in the morning to prepare, a numerical test and a group discussion.

    Interview Questions

    • Mainly competency based questions The only one that made me really think on my feet was 'Why don't you have a job at Uni?' Also asked about effects of Greece leaving the Eurozone.   Answer Question

    Graduate Banker Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)) in March 2015.

    Interview

The interview was held at canary wharf where all graduates were being interviewed. I was prepared to be asked to present an inestment case and prepared for some probing technical questions but unfortunately the committee that formed the interview panel was made up of HR personnel with no previous banking experience hence their questions were totally irrelevant and felt that they went on a tangent. Some candidates who were accepted were no where near the minimum basic requirements or knowledge that some of us possessed.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)) in January 2015.

    Interview

Application form CV and cover letter. Applied in September process took about 5 months. Heard back within the hour after the first round, took just over a week to get the offer through after the AC. First round consisted of two 30 minute competency interviews with an associate and a vice president. Not technically difficult, usual competency questions, walk through cv, have a good answer as to why citi, and why s&t Assessment centre took up an entire day First task was a case study project (write a report and prepare a presentation, presented to a director with 10-15 mins of Q&A) Then had to re-take the numeracy test 3 back to back interviews with directors, one seemed to concentrate entirely on your CV, another was a mixture of competency and technical questions, final one was fit/motivation Finished the day with a group exercise, given some time to prepare and read through the literature, and then had a 30 minute group discussion where we had to agree on final outcomes

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)) in April 2014.

    Interview

Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is a C11 position; it was listed as "Senior Developer". The process involved: A telephone interview, followed by a face-to-face interview the following week, followed by a "we want to hire you" phone call a day later. It then took about a month for HR to get through the negotiation phase.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

I asked about the salary range that was budgeted for the position. I was then asked for my previous salary, and was actually told that I would receive no written offer unless I disclosed it. I was then offered a salary that was less than the initial range. Not a good sign.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (London, England (UK)) in November 2013.

    Interview

Fast tracked to the AC from the spring week programme. The AC was quite intense with numerical test, FT exercise, case study presentation, and 2 additional interviews. The interviews were very competency based and the expected Why corporate banking? But everything was quite straight forward and there were no big surprises.

    Interview Questions

    • For me the case study presentation was the hardest - but thinking about it afterwards it was actually quite easy. Just make sure to use your time wisely and start by doing all the calculations of profits for different projects, and after that eliminate projects with a lot of risks.   Answer Question
