Comcast CAE1 Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Comcast in April 2014.
Interview Details – Misleading, biased, and very uncomfortable.
They make it obvious that men are not welcomed and you have to know someone to be hired. You merit means nothing. This is a clique job plain and simple. That's why they get bad reviews for customer service. Men need not apply.

Very Easy Interview
Devops Engineer Interview (Positive Experience; Very Easy Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Comcast in May 2013.
Interview Details – All day interview with at least 6 different groups. questions are ranged from practical to theoretical in nature. no personal or personality related questions. ability to think critically and being able to maintain focus during duress seem to be very important to them as many asked questions relating to those abilities. also, self sufficiency seems to be very important.
Interview Question – how would you deal with someone who has philosophically different approach to solve problem when the time is running out? Answer Question
IT Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Comcast in June 2014.
Interview Details – The interview process was pretty standard 3 step process. Recruiter, phone screen and in person. The teams seem very professional and the offices are very nice. Everyone treated me with respect and left with a good impression of the company.
Interview Question – The biggest issue is the time it took to get back to me on the final decision. Took several weeks with no feedback. Answer Question
Customer Account Executive-Retention Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Comcast in July 2014.
Interview Details – I did the application and a week later I received an email about a phone interview. The phone interview went well so then I was Emailed a link for an online assesment . I passed that and was set up for an interview. My Interview was July 22nd and now Im waiting to hear back. A group of us did a job preview and then interviewed with two supervisors.

Interview Details – Application submitted online with a reference from fellow Comcast employee, Phone call from recruiter within 10 days, phone screen set, phone screen passed and site interview set within a week.

Director Human Resources Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 6 weeks - interviewed at Comcast in June 2014.
Interview Details – Applied and called back within 24 hours. Took weeks in between phone screen to book in person and then by time the process went to move on to the business group position was closed due to organizational changes
Business Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Comcast.
Interview Details – Typical interview. After a phone screen they brought me in for a series of interviews with relevant stakeholders. Questions were mostly technical in nature. They asked a question about what things I would track if I was in charge of launching a new product, such as an iPhone.

Very Difficult Interview
Billing Supervisor Interview (Negative Experience; Very Difficult Interview)
The process took 2+ months - interviewed at Comcast.
Interview Details – Very long process. Over two months to finally get a decline letter. Call center going through reengineering process. New management in the call center. There was no real communication with the process. More like a waiting game to see what the next steps were. Process was application, assessment, phone interview, in person interview with call center managers, in person with call center director and senior HR manager, in person with HR director then decline letter two weeks later.
Communications Technician Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Comcast.
Interview Details – Went through 1 phone interview. Basic questions that I was able to answer. Never know what you will get from the interviewer, so have an open mind and be ready.
Direct Sales - Winback Interview (Neutral Experience)
I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at Comcast in June 2014.
Interview Details – I applied on line Wednesdays and got a surprising call the next day. Didn't know he had called but I had instructions to take assement test first then call. I was told I had passed with very high marks then we went into the phone interview.
I had impressed him with all of my answers that he couldn't wait to start the next step to hiring me.
