I interviewed online. The process took a day - interviewed at Convergys in June 2013.

    Interview Details

I went into HR and sat for a few minutes while waiting for the next available interviewer. Looking around, I noticed the different "rooms" were actually "cubed" off, so they had the movable walls in place to give each representative a cubicle to work in so it wouldn't disturb anyone else. She pulled me into her cubicle and began asking about my work history and availability. She proceeded to tell me about the position, what I would be doing, the base pay, and the shifts available. Afterwards, I had to fill out forms answering questions such as criminal history, places I've lived at in the past 10 years, amongst other things. Afterwards, I was told to go to security (on the opposite side of the building) to get my security badge made. I went over to the security spot and was informed how I would be getting into work and everything else like that for my first day, as well as where to pick up my security badge on my first day.

The woman I spoke with told me the hourly wage and the expected shift times for the position I applied for. The only negotiation on this was for second or first shift position. Naturally, I went for first shift.

I interviewed through other source. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Convergys in October 2012.

    Interview Details

It is based on who you know and their hiring needs. The interview was very generic over the phone. They have staffed recruiters that call and ask if you have all the equipment needed to work, then a few basic questions about customer service. A few days later you will get a call or email inviting you to onboard with them.

I interviewed through a recruiter. The process took 2 days - interviewed at Convergys in September 2012.

    Interview Details

My interview and hiring process was quick and painless. I was contacted, interviewed and hired all in one to two days. My interviewer was a great person to work with as well. She made me feel very comfortable during the process. I can not remember if I actually applied to this online or if the recruiter found my resume online, but it was one or the other.

I interviewed online. The process took 6+ weeks - interviewed at Convergys.

    Interview Details

The Hiring and Interview process was easy but did take longer than expected. I applied November 19th and got an email telling me to test the PC I intended on using the next day about a week after I completed the PC test a recruiter called me to let me know I had passed and that I will be contacted by email to schedule a phone interview. I wasn't contacted until December 16th when they sent me an email with a specific job opening, the training schedule, pay, description and things you have to purchase should you be offered the position. I scheduled the phone interview, did the three assessments they sent me via email The interview went smoothly we mostly went over what the document said and the recruiter just clarified some questions I had. The questions were basic "what would/did you do in this situation". I was offered the position and later that week received an email asking me for my references and then background information for the background check.

I interviewed online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Convergys in March 2011.

    Interview Details

Assessment, Email to schedule phone interview, Phone Interview about past history & how you handle situations. The only thing that put me off is that the lady interviewing me could not describe what my position would entail. The little information she did give me turned out to be incorrect, but not that big of a deal. It was a new department they were hiring for, so I would assume that's why she didn't know anything.

    Negotiation Details
