Senior, Product Manager Interview (Negative Experience; Easy Interview)
I applied online and the process took 5 weeks - interviewed at CoreLogic in July 2014.
Interview Details – Applied online and contacted by HR in about 3 weeks. Had an initial call with a recruiter and then I was contacted by HR again to set up an interview 2 weeks later for the same position. It is odd that HR conducted two exact same call separately for the same position. It gave me the sense that that company is not organized in the recruiting process. Questions from HR are formulated like you would get from a customer service when you call a credit card company. I lost my interest in working for this company shortly after we got into some questions they had.
Interview Question – Nothing difficult or unexpected. Questions are like:
Do you need visa sponsorship?
how much do you make every position throughout your career?
.... Answer Question
Summer Intern Interview (Negative Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at CoreLogic in May 2014.
Interview Details – Initial phone interview was basic information about previous work experience and relevant coursework. The second stage of interviews was with three execs. Two of them were not very pleasant to talk to, but the other was more relaxed and happier (happier-sounding at least). They basically asked about previous work experience with some behavioral questions.
Interview Question – Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what specifically do you hope to get out of this internship? Answer Question
Summer Intern Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
Interviewed at CoreLogic
Interview Details – It was very professional and it all got situated quickly. I applied online.
Interview Question – They really look at your resume in detail and ask questions about it so know it well. Answer Question
Executive Administrator Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at CoreLogic.
Interview Details – Hiring process was relatively quick... Had fantastic interviews with several executives. Told they were narrowing down to me and one other person.....no reply after a week... no reply to follow up.. once I emailed the VPs.. HR replied immediately with a reject. most likely had an internal person all along, since Hiring manager and others were evasive when I asked about next steps and timing. Other red flags were HR not replying to me even in beginning of process, yet replied after I contacted other VPs, and one VP actually said good luck in your search in beginning which I thought was odd.. Why waste someone's time if you have the person you want. What a waste of time, gas and false hopes... I am really mad!
Interview Question – The interview was standard... Answer Question
Residential Appraiser Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at CoreLogic in August 2013.
Interview Details – This was a phone interview. The first in the process of hiring. It was a good interview because I was being interviewed by either an appraiser or one who knows appraisal. She tested my knowledge by asking how I would handle certain things like an over improvement. We discussed each of my appraisal jobs I have had.
Interview Question – I guess it was asking my appraisal process. I was not sure if she meant defining the appraisal problem,, identifying the client etc but in the end she wanted to know what I do when I call a customer to the end of my report.. View Answer
Strategic Sales Representative Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at CoreLogic in April 2013.
Interview Details – Had phone interview with outsourced recruiter. Then had to video tape myself so they could view you before they scheduled the phone interview. The company paid up front for the airfare and hotel room However, they refused to pay for my car rental of $47.91! When they fly someone out from another state how do they expect you to get there without renting a car! I submitted all of my receipts to the hiring manager via mail and he claimed he never received them. I had to go back to my credit card statement to submit that for payment. They act like the money is coming out of their own personal bank account.
Interview Question – They provided no feedback at all. It took me over 2 months to get reimbursed for my expenses and then they would not pay for the car rental. Answer Question
Data Acquisition Coordinator Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at CoreLogic in April 2012.
Interview Details – I applied for the position online through my university's career site. I was called within a few days to schedule an interview.
I went to my interview and was interviewed by two people--the person who would be my immediate superior if I was hired, and the head of the customer service department.
The interview went well, and I seemed to get along pretty well with both of them. I was told that a decision would be made within two weeks on whether or not I would be selected for a second interview. I was notified about a week and a half later that I would not be considered further for the position.
The company is in dataset management, so the company culture seems pretty laid back. Most of the employees I saw were dressed casually (jeans and t-shirts) and even the people interviewing me were very business casual in terms of attire.
Interview Question – How would you deal with a coworker who is falling behind in their work and needs your assistance to get the job done? Answer Question
Engineer Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at CoreLogic in July 2011.
Interview Details – I interviewed for the position in Socal. A few days later the recruiter called me and said they were ready to make an offer. The very next day, the recruiter contacted me and said the position was put on hold. He never called back as I left him messages concerning the job offer. Un-professional to say the least, we're all grown ups and can take good news along with the bad. Just pick up the phone and admit you guys were wrong and move on.
Junior Software Engineer Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
The process took 4 days - interviewed at CoreLogic in August 2011.
Interview Details – Contacted by an internal recruiter by email. She was very friendly. After I told them I was interviewing with other companies, she fast tracked me for an interview. The interviewer was off his mark. I was interviewing for a position right out of college and he kept asking me about my experience.
Interview Question – What is your experience with .NET? Answer Question
Financial Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at CoreLogic in April 2011.
Interview Details – Email for phone interview, phone screen by HR.
