    Interview

Very quick process, manager interviewed me and asked basic questions about handling money, trustworthiness, etc. Also was very casual, I walked in to the store and asked were they hiring and I received an interview on the spot. Once the manager finished asking me questions he offered me the job on the spot and I started within a week.

    Interview

Awesome interview experience! The manager was so personal and genuine. I really enjoyed talking to her and she seemed interested in looking for the right person and talking to me. She said she loved me, so that's always good. Everyone was very friendly in the store too, and talked to me while I was waiting for the manager to come out. I would have definitely accepted their offer, but I got another job.

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Charlotte, NC) in July 2015.

    Interview

Is a two interview process. First with hiring manager then one with the general. They will ask you many questions. Just smile and be yourself! Great atmosphere and most of the time great staff! This really is just a basic interview and you will fill out forms on the second interview if you are hired.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Spanish Fort, AL).

    Interview

Brought in for a quick interview. It was essentially a one and done type interview. Sat down with a manager in the dining room and discussed my background in the food industry. This was followed by a quick description of the role and company. Pretty simple interview considering the high turn-over rate for servers.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Columbia, SC).

    Interview

A total waste of time. The interviewer know what hours I could work and never told me I had to be paired with someone else. This is a restaurant that is open at night.....how is it no one to train me at night?

    Reasons for Declining

I gave my availability and I was called with a job offer pending my background which was dumb, normally a job would run that before they call. I called a few days later to enquire and I was told I had to work whatever they decide for a week. What happened to flexibility? School comes first, who wants to wear stars on there chest for ever?

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Akron, OH) in June 2015.

    Interview

The process lasted for about a week I came in and applied in person fora serving position on a Monday; i was asked to come back Wednesday to check back on my application. Friday I got an actual interview and was told that my facial piercings were a problem. The following Monday I called back and they rescheduled my interview for Friday. When I expressed that I found retainers for my piercings, the manager said she would call to set up orientation. They're starting me on the register and moving me up from there.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel in June 2015.

    Interview

I came into the store 15 minutes before my "scheduled" interview to compete an application while standing on the side of the register. I was approached by who I believe was the general manager, who was not aware that I even had an interview. I waited for 30+ minutes before another manager finally sat down with me and conducted an interview. I came to the conclusion that some of the staff were not friendly (and shouldn't really be working with people to begin with) after I saw that I was getting eyed down from some girls who worked there. Nobody seemed like they knew what they were doing. I feel like it's worth noting that my interviewer didn't smile once.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel in June 2015.

    Interview

I had a friend who was recently hired as a server. She mentioned to her manager that I was looking for a job and she told my friend they were hiring. I went to the store that day (Thursday) and my friend introduced me to the manager. I was handed an application and sat down at a table to fill it out. Afterwards, the manager sat down with me and asked about my schooling and I told her I was in college. She said great and said she would set me up with an interview at 8am on Monday. On Monday I arrived about 15 minutes early and was directed to a table and offered a glass of water. A different manager showed up about 5 minutes later and sat down to interview me. She asked me to tell her about myself. She then went over my application and confirmed the position I wanted. She then asked about my availability. She then asked if I was comfortable selling things to others and if I was comfortable talking to people. We talked about my past job and she asked me to fill out the background check form. She then said I was being offered a job and gave me the info about uniforms and orientation!
