I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Deloitte.

Interview Details

Hiring process was smooth. In my personal case, I went directly to the second round interview at the main office as I was referred by a friend who already worked for the firm. I first received a phone call from the reviewer who asked me simple questions about my self and my goals, then she gave me the details of the second round interview. At the main office, I met with a senior manager and a partner for about 20 minutes each. Everyone was very friendly and assuring, from the greeters to the interviewers. The interviews went well, it was a conversation-like interview. Interviewers asked about myself, my goals and aspirations. I also asked some questions about the firm and the different clients they served as well as their personal experience with the firm.

College recruiter reached out to me because she had gotten my resume from a business conference I attended
I spoke with 2 recruiters then had a phone interview. The interview was very relaxed no situational questions only resume review and tell me about yourself.....
Then I got invited to the Nashville office where I interviewed with 3 people back to back 30 minute interviews. All pretty much the same. Very conversation based. Only a few basic questions the rest was getting to know you to see how well you would fit into the company.

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte in November 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied through campus recruiting website. First there was an interview on the campus with a senior manager and then there were two interviews at the office I applied for (Hartford,CT) one with a partner and one with a senior manager. All of the interviews lasted 30 min. The interviewers were really nice and easy to talk to.

    Interview Questions
    • No difficult questions. All interviews were more of a conversation.

Some of the questions I had were:
      1. Why Deloitte?
      2. Why this university? (and how I like it - the interviewer attended the same university and we talked about that a little bit)
      3. Why audit?
      4. Tell me about yourself.
      5. I had to say something about my past experiences.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte in October 2014.

    Interview Details

Networked with a HR, and then had a phone interview. More conversational, just talk about preference and current status. One weeks later got invited to onsite interview in NY office. Had two 30 minutes interview with audit partners. The interviews are really laid back. Just went over my resume and talked about some points that the interviewers interested about. In the evening, had a social event with the current employees. After one week got the offer.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte.

    Interview Details

I applied as a college senior majoring in accounting to the Big 4 firms. My interview with Deloitte was the most difficult, most structured of the 4. The interview was structured with "what-if" and "tell me about a time" scenarios, such as "Tell me about a time when you were working on a team and the team was not cooperating. What did you do to fix the situation?" All questions were formed this way.

Typical campus hire interview process. First there is the campus interview. If you want to get this interview you better have a stacked resume (high GPA, leadership, etc) or have impeccable networking skills. If you are invited for first rounds you will have a half hour interview with a manager or partner. They will ask you typical behavioral type questions - if its going really well you two should just have an easy conversation. Second round interviews consist of the same thing. Three half hour interviews, and an office visit with lunch. Honestly, it doesn't matter how qualified you are or how much you love accounting. If they like you, you will get the job. If they don't like you - well, you'll get the rejection email.

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Deloitte in March 2012.

    Interview Details

I was first interviewed on a school campus for an internship position in the audit field. Once I completed the first round of interviews, I was asked to travel to Houston for an office tour of the company and for multiple interviews. Once this was completed, I was called the same day and told that I would have the internship. The internship lasted from January through mid March, the busiest time of year for auditing. Once the internship was coming to a close, I was asked to come in for an exit interview with one of the partners. The conversation consisted of the reviews that my seniors and managers filled out about me and the pros and cons of my work. I was then offered the job in the interview.
