Campus Recruiting through career services. They chose me for an on campus interview and I had first round on campus with someone from a different business unit. This made her hesitant to ask any technical questions.

Winter internship position, on campus interview. There were one manager and one partner. Back to back for 2 30 minutes interview. Offer after first round. Pretty typical behavior questions. Nothing special. Partner did not talk a lot, so you have to keep speaking

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte in October 2014.

    Interview Details

Firstly I contacted with a employee of valuation group, she referred me to my recruiter at deloitte. First phone interview with my recruiter about some general question.

Second round with a senior manager. I supposed to be asked some technical questions, but the senior manager may be busy that day that she just asked me some basic question like do you familiar with spreadsheet and simulation. Why do you like valuation?

Final round composed of three parts, with two directors and one principle. They are all nice and there are no very technical questions. If you have final round with some lower level, there will be more technical questions. They ask you to tell about yourself and walk through the resume.

Questions: Tell me about one difficult time and how you handle? Tell me one of complex project with valuation you did before. Why valuation. Your leadership skills? You need to tell some accountant the simulation in a easy way, for example they don't understand why we use risk-free rate other than equity rate, can you explain? Explain what you did in this internship.

I just finish my final round and hope this review can help you. Good luck.

The interview process was pretty typical of big 4 firms. I went through the on-campus interview process, which started with 1 interview with a Partner and if you make it past that, you have a series of 4-5 30min interviews in the office. The interviews are mainly for fit/compatibility, if you made it that far, you're generally qualified for the position and they want to see your personality.

I applied in-person. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Deloitte in December 2013.

    Interview Details

First I had a phone screening with the recruiter to find out what position I would be interested in. Then, I was brought in to the office for two interviews, one with senior manager and one with partner. Know the discounted cash flow (DCF) inside and out! Also know the income and market approaches. Very analytical internship, very repetitive, but will look great on your resume and if you get the offer and stick it out for a year the exit opportunities are unbeatable - into an investment bank possibly, hedge fund, or private equity firm.

The interview was very casual. It was 4 back to back interviews that were focused on behavioral questions. They wanted to see if I was passionate about finance and how I had shown that in my past experience. The more technical questions came up later in the interviews but they were nothing too difficult.
