    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in November 2014.

    Interview

Applied in school's career service. The whole process takes about two weeks. The interviewers are very nice and easy talk. Actually, it is one of the things that they are seeking from candidates. Communication skill is extremely important to them. Be prepared for a case interview. Not easy. Be sure that you know Excel and budgeting well. This is more like being a "CEO" under the control of Deloitte. Very bright future.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in October 2014.

    Interview

I applied online through my university's job website after attending one or two Deloitte networking events on campus. I heard back within two or three weeks that I had been selected for an on campus interview. It was a fairly straightforward, two part interview process, each one on one, thirty minute interviews composed of mostly standard behavioral questions.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in October 2014.

    Interview

One campus interview and an office behavioral interview. The second one is very difficult. They sent email to invite me to visit there office building. The behavioral interview took an hour long. Two interviewers interviewed me separately. They all were senior mangers. The one is white man. The other one is an Asian woman. Each one spent 30 minutes to listen to me. It was always me who were talking. They just asked me to tell more about myself and only ask few questions. I wait two weeks to receive the final result. The HR called me that they couldn't give me the offer this time.

    Senior Manager (Consulting) Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5+ monthsinterviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2014.

    Interview

Months of phone interviews starting in January, with the lead partner in the group that a colleague was in. After that easy phone screen i had a technical phone interview about the subject matter the group practiced. After months of waiting, I finally moved to in-person round where i flew out to Philadelphia. It was somewhat intense, as the group interviewing me did not seem to know what happened in the previous rounds. The recruiter placed me in an entirely different practice area and they were not aware of the interviews before and the discussions that i would work with a west coast group. Added to the stress, but the people were all very nice.

    Senior Consultant Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Philadelphia, PA
    No Offer

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA).

    Interview

First round interview in Philadelphia office. Interview process is decently different enough from other major consulting firms (i.e. McKinsey, Bain and BCG) that I'll mostly highlight them here. When I arrived in the office they did not give me a description of the people I was meeting with that day. The first interview was one for fit. They seemed to care *a lot* more about the Why Deloitte? question than any other aspect of the interview. Other quesitons were basically normal. The second interview is a normal case format. Hope this helps! Evan

    Interview Questions

    • They asked several versions of the "Why Deloitte?" question. Make sure you know what makes the firm stand in both among consulting firms and in your mind.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university. The process took a weekinterviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in October 2012.

    Interview

It is a on campus interview. Questions are mostly based on my resume. Some technical questions, for example, how do you value a company? How do you calculate WACC? Other questions like, what do you think is your strengh and weakness? Use your example to show how to be a leader and a team member. He also asked about my course which he is very interested. He really asked about a lot of details.

    Interview

Was floating through the interview when I interviewed with a Sr. Manager that was taking a call with her partner while interviewing me. This was extremely odd! The feedback was that I said Warehousing, Logistics and Supply Chain too many times. I never alluded to these areas. Pathetic.

    Interview Questions

    • No questions asked. Sr. Manager was taking a con call with their partner and interviewing me at the same time. Weird.   1 Answer
