No Offer – Interviewed in Jacksonville, FL Feb 2013 – Reviewed Apr 16, 2013
Interview Details – A superday event and six interviews. The questions are all behavioral such as why DB, why Jacksonville, why your university, what is your strengthens. The only technical question is how to value a company. I only said the DCF method. Some interviewers even ask the same questions. I repeated my same stories many times.
Interview Question – I did not expect the interview would be so behavioral and I don't know why they ask the same questions over and over again. Answer Question

No Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Jan 2012 – Reviewed Jan 27, 2012
Interview Details – Interviewers ran over an hour late for previous interviews, so I sat in the waiting area for a while. On campus interview, consisted of a first interview with 2 younger associates. Mostly "fit" questions, asked about stocks I was following. Very pleasant and personable, I felt this part went very well. Then passed on to a hiring manager or something along those lines. Asked what were meant to be "brain teaser" questions, but seemed to be a bit inappropriate in level of difficulty, given that it is an undergraduate internship position. Fairly rude and this part only lasted about 10 minutes.
Interview Question – Asked to show the mathematical proof for several stock valuation models. Answer Question

Interview Details –
Interviewed with a senior banker for the expanding Global Markets operation in Jacksonville, FL (front office; back office and middle office are already established). If you can stand living in Jacksonville, this actually sounds like a great way to enjoy true work-life balance in banking. The hours aren't bad, the metro traffic isn't as awful as in larger cities, and there's no tacit understanding that you'll come in at night or work all weekend.
I'm from a non-quantitative background, so the interview was mainly behavioral. The fellow from the Jacksonville office, formerly from Mumbai, was a kind and helpful interviewer.
Interview Question – Why should I hire you, an English major, over the business and economics majors I'm interviewing today? View Answer

No Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Oct 2009 – Reviewed Jun 21, 2010
Interview Details – Interview was quick and dirty-- flew to NY for a 30-minute first round interview and got the rejection the same day; apparently they keep final rounds candidates for a 90-minute interview the next day. Lots of behavioral questions with a Global Markets Director (Ivy League). Lots of "Tell me about a time when...." Great experience but difficult.

Interview Details – I applied to Deutsche Bank online through my school recruiting website. The interview process was very quick. I had a first-round interview with two people, and received a call within a couple of hours informing me that I was going to move on to the next round. They invited me to a reception that night for the candidates moving on, and told me that the second and final round would be the next day. For that interview, I met with two senior managers separately for about an hour each. I was called that day informing me that I had been offered the job.
