I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Diamond Wireless in November 2014.

    Interview Details

I was contacted via phone and told to go online for assessments. I had to go through a ladder of assessments. Once I passed one I was invited to another, Four all together. Once I had completed them all I was messaged by the District Manager. After a week I called the Sales Manager than originally contacted me to check on the status of my application, he invited me for an interview the next day at 2pm. We had a interview which lasted about 30 minutes. There were multiple S.T.A.R. (behavioral) based questions. Examples include, Describe a time when I was in a competitive environment, Describe a difficult situation with a customer, Describe a time when you had to bend/break the rules at work, Give examples of times you were praised for your work. I asked about benefits and pay, was told about benefits and 401K and that the job was mostly commission based. I was told there was supposed to be 2-3 interviews but, I was told I had the job so long as my background passed. They send you e-mails to digitally sign for permission for them to run a background check.

I applied in-person. The process took a weekinterviewed at Diamond Wireless in June 2014.

it was intimidating at first, there's two interviews you have to go through as well as a background check. The first interview was very laid back, asked basic interview questions. The second interview was a little tougher, more in depth and detailed responses were expected.

They sit you down and have you talk about the usual why sales do this sale role play stuff and promise you SOO much money if you try hard and get hungry, problem is not everywhere has the same flow and there are some stores where if you don't make commission you get written up and others where if you don't make commission its run of the mill normal

Hiring process is pretty simple. If you know someone who sold phones before, you could pretty much get in. They like to take the advice of their employees.

    • Not really any difficult or unexpected questions, They will always try to throw you for a loop in a sales interview.   Answer Question

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Diamond Wireless in February 2012.

This company still uses paper applications (in select cases you may be able to apply online via craigslist), which is rather unexpected, and they expect a resume in conjunction with the application that you should return in-person and dressed professionally, or your probability of consideration goes drastically down. (Dress code here is Shirt and Tie. Suits are not required, but are welcome.) Should you receive a call for an interview, it's (usually) two tiered. Your first interview will be with the store manager. If you pass, your second will be with the district manager, usually within the week, both in person, and both at the location for which you will be working. Questions are designed to be probing and vague (moreso than usual), in order to allow you to really showcase yourself, because they hire only Full-Time.

Advice for your interview: This company has a very competitive, "money-hungry" atmosphere. Answer from that perspective. See the sample question and answer.
