Interview Details – I had applied for Dillards months ago, and was surprised to get an email from the asst manager wanting to meet with me the next day. I came in, the Interview was very laid back and she asked me questions about my previous jobs, deep down I knew that this had been too easy. She told me that she would look at the jobs that were open and place me In a sales associate position or area sales manager position. I called back a few days later to see If she had found something, all she could say is that she enjoyed meeting me and would let me know If something should become available. Like I said before I knew It was to good to be true, I assumed they Interviewed me because they already had something available not for something later on down the road. smh.

They were respectful to the fact that I needed to find and replace another Store Manager and worked with me along with that as well.

Interview Details – Strange application process. No online capabilities - you go into the offices and use their kiosk. There are no area's to apply for managemnt, so they call you in, determine you're way overqualified, then try to figure out what to do with you. I hope to receive an offer, as the people I interviewed with were terrific!

No Offer – Interviewed in Aug 2008 – Reviewed Mar 20, 2009
Interview Details – The interview was pretty casual. The Store Manager set an appointment with me to come into her office at the store. She was the only one there, so it was a one on one interview. It took about two to three weeks before I was called in for an interview after submitting my resume and cover letter. The front desk was cordial and pointed me into where the executive offices were, and the store Manager was cheery and lively.
