    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at EY (Los Angeles, CA) in October 2009.

    Interview

The interview process was two step. There was a quick interview on campus, which did not last very long...only about 30 minutes. Mostly behavioral. The second round in office was longer, 8am-3pm. THe questions were mostly behavioral and resume based, although they were a bit tougher. The work culture seems to be very diligent, but people are nice and friendly.

    Interview

I went through 10+ interviews with various recruiters, directors, partners and peer-level employees. Most interviews were pretty casual. We'd go over my resume, skills, experience, etc. I really liked everyone. They seemed to truly love the company and their job. My advice it to just be yourself!

    Interview Questions

    • I always hate when they ask my greatest weakness!!! They all asked this and what kind of culture I was looking for. Honestly I hate to focus on the negative and if I'm looking for a job most likely I don't care about the culture - I just need to pay my bills!!! But seriously, of course everyone wants a friendly fun environment to work in but do you was that to a bunch of stiff Accountants? Fun isn't on the agenda here!!   Answer Question

    Interview

Applied online, had one on campus interview and the second one at the office. The process seems intimidating at first because of the amount of qualified candidates you're competing against. I would advice to go to networking events and get to know the people well.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at EY (Los Angeles, CA) in November 2011.

    Interview

Primarily driven by functional and behavioral questions, such as tell me about a time... There are a couple rounds, which included conversations with various existing team members. During the process they also provided a lot of more detailed information about the practice / department, and team. It was a good process for someone making a lateral move internally.
