Human Resources Advisor Interview

Human Resources Advisor
Houston, TX

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 4 months - interviewed at Eni in April 2013.

Interview Details – The interview process was very well conducted. I was referred through a local recruiting agency and was placed in the role. It did take roughly 4 months before I was confirmed and the position was not a full-time role as I was initially interviewing for, but it was good change of pace compared to my previous role.

Interview Question – It was primarily a behavioral interview. Everything was based more on a personality fit. My resume proved I had the skills.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – long!

Finance Planner Interview

Finance Planner
Houston, TX

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2+ months - interviewed at Eni in October 2012.

Interview Details – The company does not post vacancies and does not have recruiters/headhunters. Almost all local hiring is done through employee recommendation and connections.
Slow HR process. Interview was based on STAR with some technical questions pertaining to the job.

Negotiation Details – I was informed by HR that there is very little room for negotiation. I asked for the max possible and I got it. I negotiated 3 weeks annual leave and got it.

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Eni in January 2010.

Interview Details – I was recommended to eni by another person who worked for the company. the interview went very smooth, i should mention that i had courses how to negotiate and pass interviews so i was well prepared. from eni side they are not the best head hunters but the have minimum margin.

Interview Question – They asked me if you like American style working!? they meant "free style" being very flexible with it comes to procedures and regulatory documents! and they said it in a way that they are suffering from lot of regulations (more procedures that the actual work).   View Answer

Negotiation Details – Be careful with EIRL (Eni International Resource Ltd) they Do Not play fair!

IT Administrative Interview

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Eni.

Interview Details – Two rounds interview. Discussion was mostly about behavioral questions, reasons to leave previous job, what's expected from the position. They didn't ask many typical HR questions, mostly practical and without any pitfalls. They didn't go technical, maybe because the interviewer wasn't familiar with some technologies. In general the process was good.

Interview Question – Why do you leave your current company?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – I got what I expected.

Manager Interview

Manager
London, England (UK)

I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 3 days - interviewed at Eni.

Interview Details – extremely unprofessional and improvised, it took 25 mins and then they did a verbal offer. avoid this company unless you are unemployed

Reason for Declining – just by observing the atmosphere in their offices you see the story. stressed, unstructured, dictatorial, terrible work-life balance. they aim to be international but really don't like working with other nationalities like french or even Brits!!
