Interview

Submitted my resume and heard within a few weeks and scheduled an interview. Very professional environment upon arrival. Interview was boring, by the book questions. Very corporate. It appeared that the interviewer was not interested in my answers unless they were the expected/wanted answer. Interviewer asked for more details on the weirdest questions - where there wasn't much room to give better or more details. I was asked questions regarding my current job - in a completely different industry and the interviewer seemed unsatisfied with my answers when they did not understand the situation I was referring to - and you practically have to tell a full story to answer a question. I realized through the interview that there is no room for creativity within this company and I was no longer interested in the position.

    Interview

Everything you've read here about the interview process is true. Be prepared to tell stories and paint a verbal picture of specific actions you've taken in past positions which illustrate why you would properly handle the hypotheticals they address. BE SPECIFIC. The phone interview is just a formality. If they call you, they will almost certainly call you in for round one of a personal interview - that is the one that really counts.

    Interview Questions

    • You will be asked for specific examples of something you've done related to the job that you want. Be ready with a good, detailed, and pointed story. "Describe a time when you went above and beyond to help a disgruntled customer?" Not difficult for those with sales backgrounds - but if you're coming in from another type of career, find a way to answer this question well in advance. Trying to come up with it on the fly will not suffice.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Rockville, MD) in April 2011.

    Interview

Basic Interview process. I had two phone interviews; interviewed in person and knew within a week after the interview that I had received the job. There were many written personality and IQ tests that I had to pass, but the actual 1:1 interview was pretty basic with standard questions. They just want to make sure you're all about the company and building a career with them, not a short-term job.

    Interview Questions

    • I was interviewed by three people in which I had to create a sales pitch about something I have never sold before (they make it difficult on purpose obviously).   Answer Question
