    Interview

I first applied with enterprise in february and after a month a recruiter finally contacted me. I then had a phone interview with questions such as describe your sales experience and why do you want to work for enterprise. After that I was invited to an interview at their corporate office, which for me was a three hour drive one way, even though I was applying for a position in my local area. At the interview the recruiter was very nice and informational about the company. Questions asked included, name an ambious goal you had in the past, describe a time you had to overcome an objection of someone else, name a time when you missed a deadline, what strengths/weakness do you bring to the sale position, and what do you know about the company( make sure to do your research ahead of time)'/why do you want to work for enterprise. The recruiter was very upfront about this being a sales position and customer service. After about a week, I was emailed and said that the company was pursuing other canidates for the position.

    Interview

The interview was almost exactly as it has been described on this site. Almost all the questions are sales-driven. The very first question was "tell me about a time you had to deal with an angry customer." Overall it was a very straight-forward, down to business interview. I tried the best I could to initiate some small talk and conversation, but it was hard to do. The job posting said it's for all college graduates, no matter what degree you have. I recently graduated with a business degree from a major institution. Even though I know I am very qualified for the position, since I did not have any sales experience, it seemed like she basically wrote me off right from the get-go.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in February 2011.

    Interview

Very easy going and causal interview. They talk about learning each step of their company from the ground up. "Working 80 hours a week is the new 40." I think they are a pyramid company where few people can scratch their way past washing cars... and working 80 hour weeks... Nice people in the interview though.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 dayinterviewed at Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Stirling, Scotland (UK)) in July 2010.

    Interview

After doing an online application I recieved an e mail saying that there was no current vacancies available in Scotland at the current time. A month later I recieved an e mail asking if i was still interested in the position and when i showed interest they gave me the option of a telephone or a face to face interview. I chose the face to face interview as I feel more comfortable in this situation than on the phone. The questions at this stage were mainly about points on my CV and my work experience, with the concentration being largely on customer service and sales experience. The interview went well as I had a experience in both these areas and the person doing the interview was friendly and of a similair age to me which made the experience a lot more relaxing.

    Interview Questions

    Reasons for Declining

I always had my doubts about this job because of all the bad reviews the company has had. This along with the interest they took in my sales experience put me off going to the next stage. I had already recieved two more interview offers at the same time as this and decided I would concentrate more on those.

    Interview

A recruiter called and asked if I could come in for an initial interview. She asked me questions about where im from, how I heard of the job, my personality, and what I think about certain situations. When she noticed I was serious she then started talking about setting up an interview with the area manager and doing a branch observation. Two days later was my branch observation and interview with the area manager. He asked me what I thought of the branch observation, If I could work in that type of environment, how I am qualified for the position, how I view customers and others like that. Before the end of the day, the area manager called me back and said he would like to schedule a interview with the group rental manager the next day. When I went to meet with him, he asked questions pertaining to how long do I see myself with the company. He initially wanted to make sure I was clean-cut, friendly, had the confidence one needs to excel in the position and that I was willing to be with the company and buy into their program for a very long time. HE wanted to make sure they were not going to spend money training me, pushing me to exceed, and then giving up and quitting because I got discouraged. After that interview, the group rental manager called me later the same day and offered me a position.

    Interview Questions

    • One question Enterprise always ask is how would you put three words in relation to company importance: Customer, profit, Growth   1 Answer

    Negotiation

There is really no negotiating with Enterprise. They have a management program of which they go by, no one gets paid any differently unless they have a different title. everyone starts in the same position and works their way to different management levels.
