I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation in October 2013.

Interview Details – I was required to take an online SAT-style test. It was very difficult.

Interview Question – I was asked to write a program that would read in the number of digits for a password and would then output every well-ordered alphabetic password.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

Interview Details – They found my resume posted on my college's career site and contacted me. Getting notification for setting up interview times was quick and efficient; they really love using e-mail. The interview was the most awkward thing I have ever done; the interviewer didn't seem to know what she was doing. But that process is the easiest. I ended up taking the online exams and it took over 2 weeks for them to get back to me.

Interview Question – As someone who doesn't know how to program at all, the programming portion of the exam was very difficult.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

Interview Details – Initial phone interview, basic behavioral style and basic questions about resume/background info. Interviewer seemed like he just wanted to make sure I was interested in the position. Online computer programming test that used a generic programming language to test technical skills/capabilities. Will be invited to visit the Epic campus in Wisconsin if your performance on the test meets their hiring standards.

Interview Question – Some technical problem solving required on programming test.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

Interview Details – Was approached at a career fair and was called for an interview 2 days later. The interview was basic, just a discussion of your background, etc. Received an email the next day to take an online assessment. Took the assessment yesterday, it was about 2 hours long. I have serious reservations about a company that uses a intelligence assessment online for someone with a PhD. I am now waiting to hear back from them.

Interview Question – None really, pretty standard stuff.   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – I don't like the vibe I get.. sounds like everyone is just running around putting out one fire after the next, poorly planned and run in large part by people too young to manage a group of people.

I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

Interview Details – The whole interview process was very long.

It started with applying online. Around a week or so later I was asked to do an online survey. Almost like a personality test.

About two weeks later I was called to do a phone interview. This is the basic interview you would normally think of. Best qualities, worst qualities, etc..

Another week or two and I was sent to a testing center to take a test. Fairly easy if you're good at logic questions.

I was then flown out to Madison. They treat their recruits very very well. I had a great time when I was there. The interview process while there is very scheduled. Exactly as the other reviews have said.

Interview Question – They ask you questions just to trick you during the case study. Be confident with your responses.   Answer Question

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation in February 2013.

Interview Details – An Epic recruiter contacted me after finding my resume online. I applied and was quickly told I'd receive a phone interview. I accepted and gave a list of times I was available, and they told me I'd be interviewed on Monday. Monday came and went, they never called. They emailed me again on Tuesday to tell me I was now scheduled for Wednesday (no acknowledgment that they missed the first interview), so I figured I'd just roll with it. Wednesday's time came and went as well with no call. Not sure if this will help anyone, but if they neglect to call you, you're not alone.

I applied online and the process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

Interview Details – Applied online and got called for a phone interview a few days later. Interview was with a person who actually does the job and not some random HR rep so that was a plus. Interview went for about 45 minutes and the person seemed pretty knowledgeable about the company (culture & purpose) and the job itself (it was his 5th year).

Interview Question – Where do you see yourself in 5 years?   Answer Question

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation in February 2013.

Interview Details – I was contacted by a HR person through email first. Then filled out online application. I was scheduled a phone interview 2 days after applied. Really enjoyed the conversation. Then there was a Skill Assessments test, which includes the English, math, and programming portion.

Interview Question – They told me all questions in Skill Assessments are SAT like, but the math is def harder than on the SAT.   Answer Question
