    Interview

Once you apply online, your interview is the next step which usually comes within a week or two after they review your credentials. The usual interview questions about your resume, how much of a people person you are, how you communicate and lead. However, the exam sorts out all the possible candidates obviously. Very intimidating online exam...

    Interview

Went through campus recruiting. Submitted my resume and transcript through their website portal. I was emailed within a couple of days of submission requesting a phone interview and also was asked to take their online assessment. The phone interview was simply behavioral and was not stressful. The online assessment was a bit difficult and the live proctoring via webcam added pressure.

    Interview

I applied at a college career fair. I was contacted to schedule a phone interview and a skills assessment test. I did the phone interview first. It was very straight forward - questions about my resume and any questions I might have about the company, position, and location. The women I interviewed with was very nice, and made a great impression on me concerning the company. Next I was asked to complete the skills assessment test. It is time consuming and somewhat difficult, but not nearly as difficult as I had heard it would be. There really is no way to prepare for it, just expect basic grammar, math, and logic questions. Also there is a section on pseudo code.

    Interview Questions

    • The skills assessment exam was the most difficult part. The pseudo code section can be difficult if you have no coding experience.   Answer Question

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Epic Systems Corporation in December 2014.

    Interview

I applied on their website by filling out a basic information form and uploading my resumé. I was contacted two days later to schedule a Skills Assessment test and a phone call with a current employee. I scheduled the Skills Assessment test for the 21st of December and the phone call for the 22nd of December, very soon after I received the initial email (17th of December) asking me to schedule all of this. The Skills Assessment test was tricky and graded for time and accuracy (all of the questions can be found on Glassdoor if you look hard enough, which I didn't take full advantage of). The phone interview went fine for me, my interviewer being very personable and helpful in answering my questions about Epic, etc. I received an email on the 5th of January (today, not even 30 minutes ago) stating that they had decided to proceed with other applicants.

My advice: Put all of your marbles into the Skills Assessment. The phone interview is a very, very insignificant part of the first-round process. Make sure you do your research on Glassdoor before you take the Skills Assessment test. Almost every question on the Skills Assessment can be found on this site.

About me: 3.6 Arabic major from Dartmouth College. Involved in medical research, a member of Varsity Crew and other extracurriculars.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Epic Systems Corporation in December 2014.

    Interview

Applied online. If your GPA is above a 3.2 I believe you'll receive a phone interview. Phone interview was very casual and went over my application. Then I was scheduled for a proctored assessment. This lasted me 2-3 hours, but I sorta rushed it. I would recommend taking your time and answering questions accurately. It's a pretty difficult test, so even though you cannot prepare for the content, prepare by having a clear mind and getting rid of distractions/obligations when you take it.

The test is where most people get weeded out. After the exam, you'll be notified on whether they will offer you an on-site interview or not. I accepted the interview and the process was very smooth getting me to Madison. They pay for a good hotel, airfare, and food. I went to dinner with a few other interviewees and a current employee. I would recommend going on the dinner and taking this time to learn about the company and any specific questions you may have.

On site interview was wonderful. Campus was amazing with very cool perks. You can't really be too early (to an extent), so it's a good idea to plan to arrive there early. I had a case study and a 10 min presentation. Don't choose something boring for the presentation. This will make the presentation suck for both sides. Choose a subject you have a genuine interest in and then they won't be able to stump you when they ask you questions. This is followed by an HR interview. Long on site interview, but most of the day is spent touring the campus and eating. For the PM position make sure you have effective communication skills and have a friendly demeanor. DO NOT wear a suit, you'll stick out and not look like a good fit. Wear something casual. Dress shirt tucked in with belt, chinos, and nice shoes will be a good choice. Off topic- match your belt, shoes, and wristwatch so you seem more put together. Good eye contact. Be prepared to talk all day and meet new people all day.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Epic Systems Corporation (Verona, WI) in December 2014.

    Interview

I took the 4-subject online test and personality test first. Three sections were not too difficult, but the logic section killed me. This test was quickly followed with a phone interview. This was also not too difficult. I then had the on-site interview in Verona. The on-site featured my talking to and interviewing with multiple employees, some of whom were project managers, some of whom were HR. The presentation was before 3 employees and was a little nerve-wracking for me. Other than that, the day was pretty enjoyable overall and I did not feel too pressured.

    Interview

Initial Contact: I met a recruiter at a campus career fair. Then, I got invited to do a phone interview that was really straightforward and not difficult. In the week after my phone interview I did a comprehensive skills and IQ test. This evaluation was proctored through the computer and much too lengthy (about 3-4 hours).

    Interview Questions

  10.

    Interview

The first step is taking online assesements. There is one that is purely behavioral and the other is divided into four parts. One tests speed, another English, Math skills and finally one tests how quickly you learn new concepts. Then there is a phone interview that is pretty easy. They just ask some behavioral questions.
The second interview is in person and at the company headquarters. That is all day. You go through different interviews with different people. Have to answer how you would solve problems in a specific case study and have to give a ten minute presentation on a topic of your choice.

    Application

I applied through college or university – interviewed at Epic Systems Corporation.

    Interview

Phone Interview was easy and basic. However, instead of an HR rep, it was someone who had the position I was applying for. He was NOT helpful in the slightest, all of my questions went unanswered because he wasn't "privy" to any HR information. They also focus a lot on GPA. The tests that they give you were unnecessarily difficult, and very creepily proctored. They stopped my test multiple times because my dog was making noise and they wanted to be sure no one was in the room helping me cheat. Seriously though, those tests were INSANELY stressful. Binary, and software coding questions even though I was not applying for nor have I had ANY experience in software engineering. Very intense, very stressful.
