Senior Consultant - Performance Improvement Senior - IT Transformation at Ernst & Young

No Offer – Reviewed Dec 12, 2012

Interview Details – This is about the initial screening call from HR. Even though the title of the interviewer from HR was Technical Recruiter - at this stage he did not get into specifics of the experience.

Topics covered:
- Summary of previous work experience at a high level
- Location preference
- Why did you leave your previous job?
- Travel commitments required by the position (50-70% in my case for San Fran as the location, but could go up to 80%)
- Salary expectations (mentioned that there are three grades, Senior 1, 2 and 3. Range is between 85-120k. Variable compensation is up to 9%)

Process onwards:
1. Second stage involves technical phone interview - where they will delve into specifics of your experience
2. In-person interview at an E&Y office follows to close the process.
Hope the above helps!
