One interview, 5 panelists from across Agency. Since my SES qualifications were already established and certified by OPM, not as much time spent on ECQ-related issues. More questions on technology and budget. Not as much on supervisory issues. Several panelists were in the room and then 2 on telecon. Round-robin questions, lasted about an hour.

1 initial phone interview followed by another phone interview three days later by a panel of 3 people. I felt that I did well but wasn't offered the job. For out of state people be willing to talk about how you would be willing to move ASAP.

Typical Questions were asked. A lot about writing and your writing style.

When I was offered the initial interview I was told that if I happened to be in the area, they would be happy to interview me in person, otherwise it would be a phone interview. I made arrangements to pay my way to be there in person. If you can afford to do this, I would highly recommend it over the phone interview option.
