    I applied online. The process took 5+ monthsinterviewed at Ferguson Enterprises.

    Interview Details

    Applied through their website. Was contacted through email to complete a video interview with a bunch of questions. Once completed have a phone interview which lasts 15-20 minutes. After that I was contacted to interview with a hiring manager, but my 'paper work' never made it to the hiring manager. About a month later was contacted for a hiring program. Trip was paid for was a two day event with dinner and drinks. The 2nd day was 3 back to back interviews. Followed by a 3 week wait if you have an offer or not.

    First round of interviews were on the internet where I had to record myself and answer six questions. Second round of interviews was on the phone and it did not seem much different from the first interview. Third round of interviews I am flying to a recruiting program that talks more about the job position and will be touring the company

    Received online interview. The process was very clear, well made. You need to register on a website. There you receive 5 or 6 typical questions. Few of them needs to be recorded, others typed. Questions like Why did you choose our company? What position you interested in? How do you handle situation, when you have angry customer on a phone?

    I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Ferguson Enterprises in November 2014.

    Interview Details

    It starts off with a video interview, where you record yourself in various ways answering the easy questions they provide you. It was great because you can record yourselves as many times as you want to get the perfect submission. It seems like a great company to work for with many opportunities to be promoted and advance to the next levels. I have been moved on to the final round of interviews which will be coming this Spring of 2015 since they hire in the Springtime, but the process overall has not been too hard. It seems they want competitive people who are engaged and able to just have a simple conversation, at least with the person who interview me. I became attracted to Ferguson because of the various locations it services and because the recruiter seemed to really enjoy working there with a team of great people.

    • I am not sure what the most difficult question was, but they were definitely a mixture of behavioral-based and more general questions. You should definitely think about what Ferguson could do for you if they hired you and why you think you would be a good fit.   Answer Question

    Applied online for the Westrn Region Finance Business Partner opportunity. Was contacted a few weeks later to do a video interview. The video interview consists of answering a few questions with you mobile or computing device.

    Video interviews are very discriminating in my opinion. The same questions could've just as easily been asked via a survey or phone screen.

    Was told that my information had been passed to the hiring manager. Never heard from the company after that.

    I applied for the position on July 25, 2014 after seeing the sales trainee program on my alumni'a job site. I was not interested in sales, so I figured I would research the company for other opportunities. I was sold on the credit trainee program after reading the description and reviews about the program. I was contacted 4 days later by the recruiter to do a video interview. A week and a half later I was contacted for a phone interview which I was thoroughly excited about. A few days later I had my phone interview and was asked several question. They were pretty much the same questions from the video interview. At the end of the interview and after asking informative questions concerning the program etc, I was informed that the credit trainee program was not currently accepting anyone. The only program they were hiring for was sales. I was highly upset because I applied for the credit program and expressed such high interest in that program to be taken through all of that. I was told that I would contacted for the next interview. 2 days later I received the thank you blah blah blah email and good luck on future success. Waste of my time!!!!

    Interview Details

    Started with online application via their website. Then, they send you a link to record answers to some questions. After that, there was a phone interview. Finally, a visit to the site to discuss program and get a tour of the facilities.

    Overall, the interview process was fine. A little drawn out, in my opinion, but this position is not necessarily a high priority for them. I went through the entire process and then they told me they were not hiring the position at this time. Seems like a waste of time for everyone, but good to get a little interview experience.

    Their in person interview process was one of the best i've ever experienced. First, the general manager of the distribution center actually gave me a very detailed tour of the warehouse and then we sat down and he did an excellent job of explaining the job description and responsibilities. After meeting with the general manager, I had my official interview with the operations manager in a very comfortable setting.
