I interviewed online - interviewed at GE Healthcare in July 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied online; then 2 days later, I received an email from them scheduling me for an initial phone interview 2 days forward (In their email to me, they asked whether or not the day and time of the interview was okay with me; of course that I replied back and said that it was okay).
The interview (on the phone) lasted about 10 mins, and the interviewer asked me about 4 to 5 questions.
At least two of the questions were designed to test, I guess, your short-term memory and how good you are at organizing and communicating your thoughts (since these questions among the 4 or 5 which they asked had 2 or 3 parts); but, at least 2 were also very easy to answer.

Very stingy company, you have to pay them $65/mo mandatory to use a service vehicle, whether you use it for personal use or not. They don't offer you the opportunity to provide your own transportation.

I interviewed online. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at GE Healthcare in September 2011.

    Interview Details

Applied online and heard back 3 months later. HR notified me of my first interview and where to go for my first on-site interview. Met with the hiring manager and his manager. Both guys were very experienced in their fields so it came off as a little intimidating at first (I was fresh out of college). As the interview progressed, the atmosphere became more and more loose and I found it very easy to talk with both of them. Asked me questions about my background, why i wanted the job, what are my aspirations, how I would interact with customers on different levels(scenarios), asked some general engineering questions and stuff about my senior project in college. Asked about the advantages and benefits of working at GEHC. Waited 3 days and was notified by HR that I would do a phone interview with an HR manager. Asked questions more regarding how I associate with people. Shortly after my phone interview, the hiring manager gave me an offer. Background check and drug test a definite.

    Customer Service Engineer Interview

I interviewed through college or university. The process took a day - interviewed at GE Healthcare in July 2012.

    Interview Details

The interview for me was to determine my patience which was required for a service engineer. The interview was a stress interview. The questions were basic electrical but the interviewer wont allow u to answer the entire question and would interrupt you as frequently as possible sometimes switching between questions. The most questions will be from ur resume and the interviewer would like u to explain about it and then he may try to disagree ur point and create a false environment of tension. The interviewer tried to make me uncomfortable by rejecting my answers even if they were right. So don't think that u r wrong and give up during half of the interview.

    Interview Questions
    • Why don't go for higher studies, why don't you go for the company where I have done my intern, watching or playing cricket is difficult we had a very long discussion on it and similarly on the present day music.   Answer Question
