    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Altamonte Springs, FL) in August 2015.

    Interview

A couple weeks after applying, I got a call to come in for a group interview. Arrived about 5 min early. Wore sort of casual white denim, striped top, and a nice blazer. It was supposed to be a group interview of 3 but there was only 2 of us. I personally thought the interview was a little long, it dragged for a little over an hour. Typical questions, lots of customer service scenarios. The other girl and I took turns answering the same question. Stumbled through some questions but made up with others. The manager was pretty chill overall, he seemed like he wanted to hire us from the start. At the end he said the background check would take about 24 hours and he would call us to follow up. As we were leaving the interview, the 3rd person showed up late and the manager turned them away. The next day he called with the job offer. I start next week training and I'm excited! The other girl that interviewed with me got the position as well.

    Interview

The interview was based more on telling them about myself and who I am as a person. I liked that they didn't ask the same questions as everyone else does about team work and all that. The manager also made me feel very comfortable during the interview process and all of my other co-workers are very nice and welcoming.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Gap in August 2015.

    Interview

Put in an application online and received a phone approximately two days later. We set an interview date for two days after that, and I showed up about 10-15 minutes early. Me and the other girls that were there started talking and realized it was a group interview. So we grouped together and the manager seemed to like that. We went in to a small room and we went around the room gave our name, and past work experience, what our personality was like and pur availability and then it was over.

    Interview

Average interview, spoke with the hiring manager in a group interview setting. Asked pretty generic questions about past experience and asked us what we would do in certain scenarios. Overall relaxed atmosphere.

We just talked— super easy. She didn't even really ask me typical interview questions other than, "do you own any gap clothes?" They're so desperate, they'll hire anyone at this point. Everyone's quitting.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Gap (Seattle, WA) in July 2015.

    Interview

I applied online and got a call the next day to come in for an interview. There was one other girl applying for the same position and we were taken into the stock room. It's more of a conversation than anything; they're really trying to get a feel for your personality. I was nervous because the other girl seemed much more qualified than I was but she was much more reserved than I was. As long as you ask questions, come off as friendly, and smile you should do fine. As for what to wear, I'd recommend business casual but erring on the more casual side. I went with dark jeans and a nice blouse. Their dress code is pretty casual but you do want to dress a little nicer because it's an interview. The girl interviewing us told us to expect a call within three days if we got the job. I got a call later that day!
