I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Georgia Tech (Atlanta, GA) in June 2014.

    Interview

I applied for a position as a student over the summer via a current employee's referral. After a week or two, I received an email reply and scheduled an interview for when I would next be in Atlanta. The interview itself was nothing too nerve-racking. I was asked about my previous experience and my possible interests and was later offered a position for exactly the same interests discussed.

The position was for a database development and optimization intern at the Scheller School of Business. Everyone there was very very kind, funny, and relaxed but serious about getting the work done. They let you learn from your mistakes and everything is completely transparent, they will take your input on anything and treat you well.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

It was quite fair, based on their budget of course but for an on campus job it paid MUCH higher than all other jobs on campus besides the CS department.
