    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Salt Lake City, UT) in June 2015.

    Interview

First round was back to back interviews with an associate and a VP. They both asked me to walk them through my resume and then asked some basic behavioral questions. There were no technical questions in this interview. More interviews to follow as well as an assessment, which I understand is case based. I just completed the first round interview so I am not sure how long the entire process takes from start to finish.

    Interview

I applied online and was contacted by recruiter. After 30 minute screening interview, I was put forward to superday in Houston. It was a very fun experience and a lot less stressful than I imagined. All the interviewers were very personable and easy to talk to. Overall a great experience.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY).

    Interview

Three fit interviews with associates and vice presidents. There were some mathematic components and some very basic market question, but the largest focus was put on the fit. You have to be a generally likable and extrovert person, since the work is so client focused. Don't compare it with other parts of the division or the larger firm, I've heard of different people who tried to take this route and failed to get an offer.

interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

Had an initial phone interview in early January with HR, all fit and behavioral; only exception was the stock pitch. I got a call back several hours later inviting me to the sophomore superday, which took place mid-February. Superday started in the morning with 2 one-on-one interviews with people from different divisions. My group was given a long lunch break and we were contacted shortly after lunch time and informed as to whether or not we were invited back to interview with specific groups in the afternoon. I had 4 interviews with Third Party Distribution and 2 with Trust Company, all one-on-one. They were all predominantly resume-focused, the interviewers wanted to know how my experience was relevant. They all explained what they did, then gauged my interests and preferences to determine if they aligned with the type of work that their respective groups did. Overall, the interviewers were very welcoming and candid; I was only grilled by 2 of them. Definitely a pleasant experience and wasn't that hard.

    Interview

Currently in final round interviews for PWM. Phone interview, then campus rep interview, and now a super day at the office. Mostly behavioral questions about why PWM or why Goldman along with questions about why you would be a good asset. They seem to be looking for the best fit for the team more than technical knowledge.

Applied through on-campus recruiting and Goldman Sachs website. I found out within a week I was selected for an interview. Interview

Applied online and received an e-mail to request an interview. The interviewer went to my same school, so was familiar with the programs and materials I talked about. He was quite nice, but hard to hear. Interviewer just let me talk for about 45 minutes about how I'd solve the problem. He guided me through it and we got to an answer.
