    I interviewed through an employee referral. The process took 3 months - interviewed at HSBC Canada in January 2014.

    Interview Details

    Phone interview, online assessment, onsite panel interview. The whole process was straight forward but the response time from the company was quite long. It took them a month to get back to me regarding the hiring decision.

    Second round (Group interview) -
    1. go around the table and introduce yourself
    2. write 2 paragraphs about "Why HSBC, and what value can you bring to the company"
    3. 60 second individual presentation of an economic topic (janet yellen, us dollar, cn dollar, eurozone etc. - pick out of a hat)
    4. sales pitch of a product in groups (retail store product)

    applied on HSBC website, process took about 1 week and received call form HSBC HR. phone interview after 4 days since the first call. took them about 1 week to set up in person interview. interviewed at HSBC Canada. The hiring manager was not so friendly but the questions are not hard.

    apply online and get a call from HSBC HR to ask me for phone interview tmr. The phone interview was 30min long, and they ask you a lot of questions about ur resume and past experience. Also, they ask you a lot behavioral questions. How do u deal with certain situations.
