I applied online - interviewed at Home Depot in February 2014.

Interview Details – The interview process was question and answering. The hiring process was a background check and a drug test. I thought the process went well. The interviewer was very professional. Took me to meet the manager and told the manager that I meet all qualification for the job and was given paperwork for the drug test.

I applied in-person - interviewed at Home Depot in May 2010.

Interview Details – They will call you and do a phone interview with a few questions. The first interview is really easy because it's basic questions and you never have to meet this person. The second interview is with a department supervisor, and the third interview is with the store manager. They aren't hard questions you just have to make conversation and don't seem nervous.

I applied online and the process took 2 months - interviewed at Home Depot.

Interview Details – The interview process so far was about 3 weeks. However, I didn't get a call until about 3 weeks after I applied. I got the phone interview first. After the phone interview the staffing rep said there wasn't any slots open for store interview yet but she gave me a con number and told me to call everyday to check for open slots. I could never find an open slot after calling for about a week so I stopped. about 3 weeks later I got an email that they tried to contact me and to call and schedule an app for interview. I went in for the interview the end of that same week and the assistant manager said he would be calling a week from now to schedule an interview with the store manager. Will update after the second interview.

I applied online and the process took 4 days - interviewed at Home Depot.

Interview Details – It was a very pleasant interview and I only had one with the Store Manager, she explained what is expected of the part time cashiers from a customer service standpoint very well and she explained the Home Deport family values.

Interview Question – She did give me a couple of scenarios that may have been a bit tricky but are actually easy to answer, just be polite and direct the customer to management.   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – Not too difficult

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Home Depot in February 2014.

Interview Details – Applied online process is taking multiple weeks. received a call from an automated system within a week answered a few questions then scheduled an interview. After two weeks I was called up for a second interview but I was busy on the requested/available interview days so I was told to call up the next day and talk to the manager about scheduling an interview for when I was available. When I called up it went to voicemail every time I tried at different times during the day. I have never been able to get ahold of anyone in the HR department even when I go into the store and ask they seem to be out on lunch.
