Interview Details – In addition to an interview with the Store Manager and HR Manager, we all received an HR knowledge test, and an inbox test which was very challenging. It basically provided several different events that occurred within in a particular day and we had to respond to each question accordingly and note whether we responded via phone, e-mail, or in person. All questions related to HR or customer service responses.
Interview Question – I don't remember exactly what, but one of the inbox questions didn't make sense until you went further into your inbox, so it seemed like too vague of an issue to respond. But when you finally arrived to another item in your inbox everything made sense. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I asked how flexible was their offer and they said there was some flexibility. I offered an alternate amount of about 5K and they accepted.

No Offer – Interviewed in Atlanta, GA Oct 2008 – Reviewed Sep 10, 2010
Interview Details – I interviewed at the corporate headquarters. It took over a month to get the interview scheduled, but not due to me. I had to arrange my own transportation to the office and pay for it being told I would be reimbursed later. The first person talked with me for 15-20 minutes and then had to leave to participate in a company function elsewhere in the building, which he already had to know. He passed me off to another person who basically had nothing to ask me but offered to answer any questions I had. She could only speak to her specific job not the one for which I was interviewing for. After lunch I met with the VP of Medical Services and another top manager in Medical Services. Questions were not insightful and they were unclear of exactly what they were looking for in the position while questioning me as to whether or not I could do the job. For high level leadership whom I'm sure are good at their job, I was disappointed in my perception of their preparedness for the interview especially considering the level of management of the position and the fact I took a day of vacation and flew from another state to be there.
Interview Question – No truly difficult or unexpected question for which I wasn't prepared. Answer Question

No Offer – Interviewed in Detroit, MI May 2007 – Reviewed Nov 4, 2009
Interview Details – They sent a group of regualr associates out to the Redford center to interview for HR jobs. They first took us in and made us take basically like a scantron type of test and it was timed. Then after that we went in to interview with 2 people each and they asked questions that were pretty hard. They wanted me to rattle off different sections of the Civil Rights Act (I know basic one's since I have a Bachelors in HR) but they wanted it word for word. They also asked how would I handle someone from a different race? Just made me wonder why I would treat them any different since I treat everyone the same??? Then they never called or sent anything with the results or any feedback.
