    Interview

The initial interview with the Humana recruiter was great. She asked behavioral questions. I have 11 years of experience as a home health administrator. I led our agency to a zero deficiency rating. Therefore, I was excited about the interview and utilizing my skills. After understanding my 4 year degree is in Health Administration in lieunof an RN degree, the position was no longer opened for non-RNs. Another recruiter called me for the same position 3 months later and he ensured me the RN degree was preferred but not required. I agreed to try again. The Montage interview did not start timely due to the last link I received via my email was inoperative. After several minutes of retrieving emails, I found it. The interview started fairly with the VP (non- nurse) and Director (RN) until I informed the interviewers I sold our company and would like to utilize my skills as a home health administrator (manager). I was so excited to bring my talents and diversity to management. Unfortunately, I will not have that opportunity. The position remains open.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions abruptly changed to questions which did not correlate to the job. I felt uncomfortable being asked how many employees stayed, how many adrs, what was your average reimbursement, and etc. There was little interest of how I led the team to a deficiency free rating with CMS, DADS, TWC, and DPS.   1 Answer

    Pharmacy Technician Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Humana (Phoenix, AZ).

    Interview

First you get an invite to take an automated questionaire over the phone. Then you receive an email to schedule a face to face interview, mine was with two people, one was a manager and the other was a supervisor, I believe. This was my second time interviewing with Humana, and like my first interview, they really seemed to like me. However, I'm not sure, but it felt like they wanted someone "younger". I received a rejection email 2 days later. Humana wasted my time, so needless to say, I will not be applying with them again.

I applied online. The process took 5+ weeksinterviewed at Humana in April 2015.

    Interview

The interview process was fairly quick in terms of after a call with hiring manager it took like couple of weeks to complete. First round with hiring manager, then with technical person and finally Final rounds. But the worst part waiting for the decision. After my final rounds which happened Online using Montage, I didnt get any reply from them.
It has been more than 3 weeks and no reply from them, I mailed them, messaged them even call them, they just dont pay heed to you.

This is a disaster, you work so much hard for interview, and these guys don't even feel the need to respond to candidate about the application status.

    Process Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Louisville, KY

    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Humana (Louisville, KY) in February 2015.

    Interview

Humana recruiter did great job putting interview together. I only did in person. Phone screened with recruiter. Interview was pretty informal. I talked to the manager and the other process manager in the same group. I was much more qualified technically for the job than the other process manager. It went really well I thought. The manager even skipped his other meeting to keep talking. Very disappointed. If I still didn't want to work for Humana this would be negative.
