Strategic Consultant Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate
Dallas, TX

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Humana.

Interview Details – Applied through their website after finding a job posting on LinkedIn. Got a call 2 weeks later to schedule a phone screen with HR. After that I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Brought onsite (position was for Dallas but they flew me in to Louisville) to interview with managers and other consultants (some 1:1, others 2 at a time). They did say they fly candidates in on the same day so another candidate was in the designated waiting room at the same time so you get the chance to size up the competition. Didn't hear anything for 2 weeks so I contacted recruiter via email and received the thanks-but-no-thanks form letter that afternoon.

Consumer Experience Consultant Interview

I applied online and the process took 1+ week - interviewed at Humana in March 2014.

Interview Details – The first interview was an automated phone interview. I assume the company would set up a face-to-face interview in the next step. However, I was notified about one week after the interview that I was not selected for the next step in the hiring process. It was definitely a learning experience.

Interview Question – The whole process was challenging. This was the first time I had gone through this type of interview. I would have preferred a live phone interview so that I could interact with someone and clarify any responses that were unclear.   View Answer

Case Manager RN Interview

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Humana in January 2014.

Interview Details – I submitted my resume and was immendiately called by a recruiter for a phone interview, after two days I received an email for a face to face interview. The day of the interview I got there early, they have a security personnel and my name was not in the system as scheduled for interview, after 20 minutes someone came to get me. My impression was not the best, I was treated courtesly or politely but they all lack of professionalism, it looks to me the company let the present hired personnel to perform the interviews and then they choose who they " like" the most, I was interviewed by two ladies, they didnt identify themselves just by their names and none of them was the person I was supposed to be interviewed by as per the email I received, they asked me the cockie- cutter questions developed by companies to factory hire employees, in the middle of the interview someone knocked on the door and laughing were discussing with them who wil do my interview then who will do the next and so, I really left not wanting to be hired by them, it lacks of professionalism let me hopeless and thinking on the poor people that receive care from them.

Interview Question – they asked me how have I responded to a situation when a new supervisor has come and changed the way things have to be done.   View Answer

Health Services Analytics Consultant Interview

I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Humana in January 2014.

Interview Details – Applied Online and received a phone call from a recruiter less than a week later. She gave a brief overview of the position, asked about my qualifications. She seemed to be in quite a rush to get off the phone, said she would call me back if the hiring manager was interested in speaking with me (never heard another word from her). The couple days later i received a call from an administrative assistant in the office where the position was located. He set an in person interview. Once I arrived it seemed like a nice facility. There were 3 people in the interview, 2 directors and a finance manager. No behavioral questions. Just went through my resume and asked about my experience. I though the interview went great I did a lot of research on the position and felt confident I would receive a call back. I never heard from anyone again. Its been over two weeks.

Interview Question – Not many questions, more conversational. How would you describe your organizational skills.   Answer Question
