    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

Really short and simple. It seemed as though they really knew what they were looking for. I didn't know if I wanted to work for them again but in the interview they really turned my feelings around. I really hope that I get the job there and I am able to utilize my talents for IBM once again.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took a week. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

A few case questions, but nothing to difficult. Went through my resume and had a few questions about my prior jobs and what they were. Also called my references which were listed on my resume. It was a pretty laid back interview, but it seemed like they had dozens of applicants for only a couple jobs.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in January 2015.

    Interview

The initial interview was a quick phone call, which was quickly followed up with an email asking for an in-person interview with 3 senior team members. The 3 meetings were back to back, where I sat in one room, and they came in. This seemed to be a super interview day as I noticed a few others there for the same position.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in October 2014.

    Interview

Applied through college job board. Heard back about 2 weeks later. The interview consisted of 2 behavioral interviews and one technical interview. In the technical interview, they provide a case study which you are supposed to evaluate and explain your thought process to the interviewers. If you get stuck, they push you along and try to set you in the right direction. The behavioral interviews were just like any behavioral interviews. They ask about your strong/weak points, where you're looking to be in 5 years, team projects you've worked on, etc.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in December 2013.

    Interview

Very standard interview, tough at some points when things got technical. I don't think it would be very different for other tech-related companies if you are applying for this position.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 6+ weeks. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in December 2013.

    Interview

Initial interview on campus with alumni representative. Personality interview that covered basic interview questions. Second and final round interview at IBM offices in NYC. Interviewed with three people, two of which were basic personality type interviews and the third was a case study. The case study was fairly straightforward, they weren't trying to trick you or throw anything really unexpected at you, just see that you prepared and try to understand your critical thinking process.

    Interview Questions

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IBM (New York, NY) in September 2013.

    Interview

Was contacted in August for a resume drop, then contacted again in September for interviews. Flown out to NYC office for interviews in late September. Interviews lasted only one morning, consisting of 1 case and 2 behavioral. My interviewer for the case was very unprepared and was looking up her case while I gave my "tell me about yourself" talk. Behavioral interviews were pretty standard. After the interview, I was told decisions would not be made until November. In the first week of November I was emailed saying I was still under consideration. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I emailed the recruiter and was replied to with a rejection.
