Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at J.P. Morgan (Houston, TX) in May 2015.

Interview

written online application, HR contact for phone interview, phone interview with VP of corporate communications with around 5 questions. Opportunity for specific questions at the end. Electronic offer submitted about a week later which I ultimately declined for another offer due to proximity issues. Beware that the time between the submittal of online application and the HR contact was 1.5 months. A bit to wait on for just an internship.

interviewed at J.P. Morgan in December 2014.

    Interview

I was first contacted via phone and had a 15 min. conversation which transitioned scheduling a 1 on 1 interview in the NYC office where I would work if accepted. During 1 on 1, asked general questions to gain background info on me personally rather than if I was qualified or not. Overall, wasn't as bad and scary as some people make it out to be.

    Interview

It was an interesting experience. Everyone was very friendly and genuine. The interview was more like a conversation that an interrogation. While the processes was somewhat long, it was a nice rotational interview that allowed me to meet a significant number of employees. By far one of the best interview experiences I have had.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at J.P. Morgan (Chicago, IL) in October 2014.

    Interview

The interview process was pretty straight forward. There were two rounds of interviews. The first round took place at my university and the second took place at their office. I would strongly recommend attending information sessions and social events in order to meet the recruiters prior to interviewing. All of the hiring managers and recruiters I met were really nice.

Easy interview process. It is basically in place to determine whether or not you are socially awkward. If you are able to answer simple questions about your work history, you should have no issues. The questions should be answered honestly.
