The interview process was a different experience. An appointment was set up to have an interview at a specific time and the interviewer was 30 minutes late. When they called they were asking if they could setup a time to interview, which was confusing because they called at the time they set up for the interview in the first place. Overall the interview was a decent experience, although, they said they wanted to move forward to the next step and have a final interview within a day or two and contact from them never happened.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Jiffy Lube in November 2013.

    Interview Details

I applied online 2 weeks ago and was called back a few days ago to set up an interview for a lube tech position. Upon walking in and letting the gentleman at the counter know I was there for an interview, I was told that the hiring manager is usually late and was not at the store. This was a huge red flag. The gentleman at the counter then printed out a copy of the application for me to fill out. I returned it to him and waited for over 30 minutes for the hiring manager to show up or contact me regarding him being late. He made no outreach to notify me or his staff that he would be late, or when he would even show up. Finally I gave up and left because this whole experience was extremely unprofessional, aside from the gentleman at the counter.

Really not sure what they were looking for. I answered all of his questions precisely I think the man was a little intimidated by me and not saying that to be arrogant either. Basically met with general manager and we sat down he asked a few questions I answered some being what is the meaning of success? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What is your dream Job? etc..

I applied online. The process took a dayinterviewed at Jiffy Lube in October 2011.

    Interview Details

I had applied to the local Jiffy Lube from a job website. Was contacted via phone the next morning to come in for an interview later that day around 1 PM. I show up with my resume in hand and ready to go, on time of course. It took approximately five minutes until the manager actually acknowledged me and provided me with the application to fill out. He told me to come and flag him down after I was finished. About fifteen minutes later the application was filled out and I tried to get his attention. He told me it'd be a few minutes longer as he was currently busy. I waited about another ten or fifteen minutes before another supervisor came over to let me know that they were too busy to conduct my interview.

I handed him my application, and they said they'd give me a call to reschedule. Never got a call back, and had no intention of going back if they had. If they can't properly schedule interviews, I didn't want to think what they'd have been like to work for.

I applied online. The process took a dayinterviewed at Jiffy Lube in January 2011.

    Interview Details

I got a call from the Manager on a Friday, told me to come in on Monday at anytime. The call was very brief, so brief I had to call him back to double check details. I go in on Monday, am told the Manager isn't even in today (though he said he would be) so I'm interviewed by a Supervisor. I wait forever in their lobby, which wasn't a big deal but I could just tell by looking outside everyone was just hanging out and doing nothing, finally he comes in and takes me outside out back to a tent and that's where the interview was conducted. I'm typically not one to think all men are sexist, but this guy was. I answered all the questions perfectly I thought, but when he asked if I had automotive experience I said no but I had seen that it's not required and Jiffy Lube provides the training, plus the position wasn't for the Crew, so I tell him no and he just laughs in my face. You could tell he was not taking me seriously so in the end he just shakes my hand and tells me he has more interviews to conduct and walks off.

Not impressed whatsoever obviously. I thought I would be able to bring a new light to a male dominated company with a nice smile and great personality but apparently that means nothing anymore.
