Interview Details – The hiring process is very typical. For the first round, the interview last 30 minutes. It was an audit manager who interviewed me. She was really nice and friendly.

Interview Details – I was hired full-time through first going through the KPMG internship program as a junior in college. I went through college recruiting where I had a first round interview with a KPMG recruiter at my campus career center. Then I was invited in for the second and final round of interviews, which was a full day over-night interview process, which included dinner with professionals, paid hotel room for the night in the city, and 2 interviews the next morning with a manager and a partner. All questions were behavioral and the partner interview was particularly informal - at this point, they want to just get to know you and whether they'd be interested in having you on one of their audit teams.
Interview Question – Please give a situation in which you were in an ethically compromising situation and how did you handle it? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – No salary negotiation as salaries are the same across the board for all interns and new-hires. However there is a higher salary for new hires who can demonstrate that they've completed 150 units towards their CPA. Also bonuses for passing all 4 CPA exams within the first two years of hire.

On Campus Interview - they say it will be behavioral, but the interviewers are open to conversational, so try to turn it into the conversation and your good
Second Round Interview - A dinner the first day, and office visit the second day. They just want to get to know you and how you'll fit in. Talk to as many people as you can, not so that they know you, but so that you know everything you want to before the interview ends.

Interview Details – Applied through my school website, only needed my resume and got notified that I had received an interview. Had 1:1 interview on campus with a manager. There were also greeters (new hires from internship or last year recruiting) who helped us relax before our interview. Interview consisted of several behavioral questions back to back, not much room for conversations. Very difficult and challenging. But overall manager was great and easy to talk with and the people I met from the firm were great.

Interview Details – Went very smoothly. Calling directly and getting to know a recruiter is a great option for those that don't have campus recruiting available to them. Staff was very friendly and helpful with answering any question I asked. This was my first interview so I can't compare with others, but there wasn't too much pressure nor any question that stood out as silly. Interviewed with four people: a partner, two managers and a director.

Interview Details – The key to interviewing with any of the big four accounting firms for entry-level positions is personality. Experienced interviewers have told me that they are generally unconcerned with querying the interviewee's accounting knowledge or experience. They already know that anyone selected for an interview is smart. They look for personality. What they really want to know is if they will be able to spend twelve hours in a small room with you every day for two months. They will often ask some situational questions, but will mostly judge the interview based on the casual conversation throughout. My interviewer, who is now my manager, asked about which sports I liked.
Interview Question – The unstructured interview I experienced was unexpected. Be prepared to just chat for a half hour if necessary. Answer Question
