it was campus recruiting. Had phone interview instead of campus meeting, because the director was in Miami. Basic behavior question for the first interview. Then they provided office visit opportunity. I had three 30-minute interviews with a manager, a director and a partner. The interviews were mainly chatting.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at KPMG US in October 2013.

    Interview Details

I had networked extensively with KPMG recruiters on campus both at the career fair and open office hours. I was then invited for a first round interview on campus. The interview was laid back with a few behavioral questions. I could tell that the interviewer wanted to get to know me on a more persona level, so I was able to find some common interests to talk about in the interview. After successfully completing a first round interview on campus, I was invited to KPMG's Inside Look program. KPMG definitely wants you to feel comfortable in their office and give you the opportunity to engage in social conversations with many different professionals. Dinner followed after, which was very nice. On the second day of the Inside Look program, you get a more in depth look at the office and a sense of what it would be like working as a KPMG professional. I had two interviews - one with the Director of National Recruiting and another with a Senior Manager in the IT attestation practice. When meeting with the manager, I was being asked many behavioral questions left and right, as if I was trying to be thrown off guard. Within the last ten minutes of the interview, my interviewer took a complete "180" and we engaged in my social conversation and discussed what it would be like working on a team together.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at KPMG US in October 2013.

    Interview Details

Initial Interviews were held on campus for both internships and full time positions. Held a pre-interview session before the interviews to meet with the members of the interview panel which was really helpful in understanding the work profile and about the company. Interview was very behavioral type and was promised to get back within 2 weeks. But after the interviews there was no communication from their end for more than a month and no response to any emails.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at KPMG US.

    Interview Details

I had my interview with partner, director, and manager of KPMG. The interview lasted 30 minutes each. The managers were very pleasant to interview with. They asked me questions about my experience, my management skill, and communication skill. It felt more like a conversation than an interview. I was allowed and felt comfortable asking questions about the KPMG organization and the position throughout the interview process. I had the impression they were comfortable with technical skill and was really focus on if I was a good fit for KPMG.

The recruiter was really friendly and professional. They made an offer within 48 hrs of the interview.

Was very easy. 2 step process. 1 phone interview where they asked just about my resume and getting to know me better. Then invited me to an office visit in the charlotte location. Was interviewed by 4-5 different people. Took me out to lunch, which i believe was an informal interview. I was not asked any specific questions about the job, mainly just trying to understand me as a person.
