I applied through college or university - interviewed at KPMG US in April 2013.

Very social and laid back. Had to first send in my resume and be accepted for the interview process. The people are a little edgy but they are overall pretty sincere.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months - interviewed at KPMG US in April 2014.

    Interview Details

Met recruiters at career fair and applied online at KPMG's site. Received an on-campus interview and was invited to a pre-interview dinner the night before. Met very outgoing, personable KPMG professionals. On-campus interview was for 30 minutes with a partner of the Dallas office. Felt more like a conversation and less like an interview. Head back within a week or so with an offer to visit the office. Between the interview and the office visit, there were several social outings with the company where I met more professionals from the Dallas office and some current interns.

It was an on campus recruitment interview. The guy was extremely rude and unprofessional. I answered all of his questions the best despite the man being so awful.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at KPMG US in February 2010.

    Interview Details

After preliminary certification through my school's career office, I was able to submit my resume, references, and an unofficial copy of my transcript through KMPG's website. Probably due to my G.P.A. alone [3.7+ at that time], I landed a first round interview.

    Interview Questions
    • As my interview stayed avoided unduly technical questions, there weren't any questions that we difficult, per se; however, he did ask me one question so odd that it caught me off guard: "From your work experience, what's the greatest compliment you've received?" Though I froze up at the time, in retrospect, I probably could have salvaged the moment by responding with a comment or phrase from my previous employer's letter of recommendation.   Answer Question

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days - interviewed at KPMG US in March 2014.

    Interview Details

Prior to the interview, KPMG took me and a few other people to a nice dinner to become acquainted with each other. We played a trivia game that was fun and the interview was the next day. The interview was very casual with no direct questions. The man giving the interview was very laid back and just wanted to get a feel of my personality.

The interview process was quick considering what they were hiring for. I interviewed with a senior manager and a manager, both interviews lasted 30 minutes. The questions they asked were not situation or behavioral, they were personal. The interviews were stress free, I was able to be myself.

I applied through college or university - interviewed at KPMG US in March 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied through university career website. The first interview was with a partner. He was really nice and I liked him very much. The interview was for about 30 minutes, and I was surprised that he asked me only few questions (Maybe that was enough for him). The questions were pretty much behavioral. He asked me if I have any questions, and I asked few until time ran out. I think it was 15 minutes of me talking and 15 minutes of him talking. I got a phone call in 3-4 business days about second round of interview at the office. I interviewed with 2 partners there. It was same idea - no technical questions. I think they want to see if they like you and you will be a good fit. UPDATE: The second round interview was on Friday, and I got a phone call on Monday morning from the recruiting manager telling me that I got the internship. I really like how the process with KPMG is super quick!
