    Interview

3 interviews. Phone interview/screening. Face to face with hiring manager. Last interview Face to face with VP of Sales, another manager, recruiter and hiring manager. Interviews lasted 2.5 hours. Everyone had a different goal when interviewing me. Hiring manager ended the interview with needing to talk with everyone and would call me the next week. I did receive positive feedback and was told I was recommended for the position. Hiring manager called all references and wanted to put an offer letter together. Two weeks later was told an internal employee applied and needed to give a courtesy interview still wanted to hire me. Six weeks later no offer letter. I was really interested and would have accepted the offer letter if it would have been offered. Not happy with the run around. I would have rather had the truth and moved on.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Kelly Services in April 2015.

    Interview

Applied online to a consumer affairs rep position with a very notable company (national brand, local office). I was contacted by a Kelly Services rep within a week of applying. Initial interview lasted about 17 minutes, and then I was directed to the Kelly Services website to complete my application (for background check purposes). Within 5 days, I was contacted by Kelly Services to schedule an on-site interview with the national company. Kelly rep was very friendly and helpful, and I had an interview scheduled within days. Unfortunately, nothing the Kelly Rep said in an email about what to expect (a Kelly rep who would meet me, the three leaders I was supposed to meet) actually occurred. I arrived 10 minutes before interview was scheduled to start and met with someone who wasn't in the interview confirmation email. The in-person lasted 25 minutes, and I felt rushed. It was clear the person who interviewed me did it because they "had to", and honestly, I wasn't even sure if I was interviewing for the right position (my interviewer had no idea who I was, my background or experience) - I reached out to my Kelly Services rep right away and within a few days, I was contacted that both the situation and outcome would be researched. My rep thanked me for informing Kelly Services of my experience - it's been over 48 hours, and I still haven't heard anything. I'm assuming I wasn't a fit for the position (which is fine) but actual interview experience was still odd. Overall, Kelly Services has been very helpful, just wish the in-person interview experience hadn't been so awkward and unexpected. I would have liked the chance to speak with and impress the right people vs. someone who viewed my interview as a burden.

    Interview Questions

    • Most difficult questions were in the in-person: "why do you feel you're a fit for (said notable company) given your experience?" - not the most difficult question I've ever been asked, but given the circumstances, I was a little thrown off.   1 Answer
    • "I've never heard of your XYZ company you work for before..."   1 Answer

    Business Analyst Interview

    Anonymous Employee

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online – interviewed at Kelly Services.

    Interview

I applied for the job and was granted an interview with one of the recruiter's clients the next day. The interview went well and I was told by the recruiter that they were working on an offer. Three weeks went by with minimal communication. I was very excited about the opportunity so I called or emailed the recruiter at least once a day. I received no email replies and one phone call. Finally in the third week the recruiter told me hiring for the position was "shut down". Whatever that means. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at Kelly Services (Albany, GA) in January 2015.

    Interview

There were three phone interviews after that I was scheduled for a face to face interview with the lead recruiter. Then I interviewed with the location manager. Asked lots of technical questions that wanted to know about my ability. Asked lots of personal questions. Seemed like they were being very difficult to please and not offering very competitive pay in the end.

Picker/Packer At Bausch and Lomb Interview

    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency – interviewed at Kelly Services (Lynchburg, VA) in December 2014.

    Interview

My resume was hand selected by a individual in California, after completing the entire process over two weeks of e registration, background and drug test, tour of the Bausch and Lomb plant, i get a call two hours before i start telling me I cannot go due to a reference when I worked as a Secretary at a Family Owned Business, which I worked during as a teenager, thus I did not keep W2s, payck stubs. Instead of going to according to the clean background, pass drug screening, I was voided and removed from this job for another position I had on my resume that nothing to do REMOTELY with the position I was applying for. Also the remote i9 process was very vague and I do not feel comfortable scanning my passport online for the purpose of identifying my self when anybody could seize that information for their own purposes. I have had this entire issue turned into the Federal Trade Commission and I will further my investigation as needed. It wasted over 2 weeks of my time, why did not ck the references first? I was a teenager at the time and my parents instead paid me with school supplies, clothes and allowance for gas/college expenses also. Something very fishy and strange about this, as to everybody I have explained the situation too.
