I applied through an employee referral and the process took a day - interviewed at Kelly Services in July 2011.
Interview Details – I was referred / requested by an employee (manager) at the company into which I was contracted. I had worked for this company previously, first as a temp and later as a direct employee, and had been laid off but on good terms so that they were interested in hiring me back when the economy started to recover.
Negotiation Details – I negotiated with the manager at the company where I was placed, not with Kelly Services. Since I had worked for this company previously, I was familiar with the job expectations and the salary range for the position, which made negotiations fairly easy and straight forward and amiable .
Pros: I like that they are willing to evaluate your total skillset, even those you may not have used in a while. It makes it that much more likely that you'll be able to be assigned to a position you can feel confident about. – Full Review
