Very Easy Interview
Technical Support/Help Desk Advisor Interview (Positive Experience; Very Easy Interview)
The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Kelly Services in July 2011.
Interview Details – This is a work-at-home position with KellyConnect, a division of Kelly Services. The position is somewhat like a sub-contract job with Apple, taking inbound technical calls for the iPhone and iPod touch (You are an employee of Kelly Services, not Apple).
I sent in my resume about a month ago and received a follow up pre-qualify survey 2 weeks later. After answering the survey, i received another email the next day to take a 90 minute online assessment (they wanted me to take it within 24 hours.). The assessment consisted of a personality test, skills test and a mock call center situation. I thought i did poorly on the call center task but a few days later i got a phone call asking if i'd like to continue with my application with a phone interview. The interview was scheduled for the next day with a recruiter.
The phone interview consisted of standard interview questions, straightforward technical questions as well as more details about the position. There was also a mock customer service situation regarding network troubleshooting.
After the interview, if they find you a fit for the position, they'll let you know right then and will send you an email with steps to fill out an official online application, which takes about 30 minutes. After that, the next day someone from a local Kelly Services branch contacted me to come fill out paperwork authorizing a background check and some tax forms.
2 weeks later after the background check cleared, i got offered the position.
