The process took 2+ weeks - interviewed at Kohl's in November 2011.

Interview Details – first one on one interview in the career fair of Kennesaw State University. Then got an email from corporate regarding the final interview. This interview lasted 4 hours. It was divided into 4 parts. there was a group situational interview where I was told to solve a certain situation with a customer and work with another candidate thus formiing a team and working to give good customer service. Then there were 2 interviews of 30 mins each with the district manager and university relations manager of the company. after that we had a presentation of what the company is all about. It was a different way of interview but felt really comfprtable and friendly environment

Interview Question – We have a strong charge card program. how would you sell a card to a customer who is adamant of not getting one. How would you overcome the initial NO of the customer?   View Answer

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at Kohl's in February 2012.

Interview Details – They were very friendly and welcoming. The interview went so well, I didn't want to leave. It did how ever take really long to hear back from them for the final interview process. However, I found out I did so well I skipped the second round of interviews!!! They asked me questions like "why do you want to work for Kohls?" "what do you expect from kohls?" "tell us about a time where you could not finish a task" "how do you go about getting a task done that you are not really sure about?"

Interview Question – tell us about a time you did not complete a task?   View Answer

I applied through college or university and interviewed at Kohl's.

Interview Details – The recruiter came to campus for initial round, the interview was pretty standard and easy. Second round was in-store and started off with a group activity, with 5 observers, followed by two interviews.

Interview Question – The group activity was probably the most difficult in trying to stand out from the other applicants in analyzing several workplace issues.   Answer Question
