Interview

Applied online. Called back after one week and had a 1 to 1 interview and they told me they were setting up a date for orientation and would call me back. Did not hear anything and it turned out they had my phone number wrong. Gave them my number again and then they called me. The whole process was super easy, it seemed like they were looking for people.

    Interview

It was a group interview with the manger. He asked about 15 questions. At the end we had to ask him questions to find out later they only start off at 7.35. After the questions we went home and waited for Khol's to call back for an official schedule.

    Interview

I applied online, about two weeks later I got a call to schedule an interview. It was a group interview with three other people, and the interviewer asked several questions and we all got a chance to answer. Waited over a week and they called to set up a second interview. This time, it was a one on one interview with the store manager, and the exact same questions were asked as before. I was under the impression that I got the job, however over a week later I received an email saying that I did not get the job.

    Interview

Applied via Snagajob, was called two days later to schedule for an interview the following week. The interview was a group interview with 3 other people, the questions were very easy. Why do you want to work here, what would you do if you didn't know a customer's question, what's a time where you worked with a difficult person an how did you handle it. I got called back two days later to fill out paperwork regarding my availability and to write more references. The manager said she would call my references and then offer me a position, so now I'm just waiting.

    Interview

I applied online and got called the same day to schedule an interview. I scheduled an interview for the following Thursday. It was a group interview (all college students, me being the only one with no work experience) with a manager leading the interview and another taking notes on our responses. Overall the interview was fairly easy. The interviewer asked simple questions and it went well. Now I'm just waiting to hear if I got the job.

    Interview

I applied Nov 10th 2014 and was called to set up an interview two days later. Although it was a seasonal position this interview was surprisingly solo and not group. It was probably the easiest interview I've ever been to. Also, to my surprise it was only one interview.

    Interview

The interview was very easy, relaxed and mostly about you. What you like to do, school and stuff like that. I.applied on a Saturday and got called that.Monday. Unfortunately, the management at Khols is very.rude. They show lots of favoritism and talk about you bad. especially if you are of color.

    Interview

Filled out the online application and received a call for a group interview a month later. The group interview was with a store manager and there were four other applicants being interviewed as well. The questions were easy and simple basically about current employment, what your availability was, and if you could particularly work weekends and holidays. It's a little over a week later and I still haven't heard back.

    Interview

I applied online through Snagajob and the hiring manager reached out to me 2 days later which took me out of surprise because usually I'm the one reaching out to companies I apply to. She called me Tuesday morning, left a message because I was out. I called her the next morning and I was scheduled an interview for Thursday 3pm (I had two time options). I spent the whole day researching all I could about kohls and the interview process. I arrived super early (almost an hour early!) and as a result I got to meet the hiring manager. I think that worked to my advantage. She was super nice and told me I could look around the store while the others arrived. From reading the interview processes on here, I knew this was going to be a group interview. After some time when I was sure others had arrived I headed back to the employees room. Sure enough there was 3 other people. We sat around a table. There ended up being a total of 8 of us. Two of the managers including the hiring manager interviewed us. I was fully prepared because from the questions on here. Thanks Glassdoor! Now because we sat around the table, they went around the table and each gave our own responses. Because I was the second person I was still able to give my own responses whereas the others behind me had similar answers or would say "I agree with what she said" or "like she said" That is one disadvantage about group interviews is being able to come up with your own responses. Regardless all but 2 got the job. One of them being a girl with a full sleeved tattoo and several piercings on her face. She also wore a sleeveless shirt. com'on common sense girl! After they asked us questions, the two managers left the room to "look" over our applications. They don't tell you directly you didn't get the job. For those they intend on hiring they say something like "your application was incomplete. Stay behind to complete them" After the 2 that didn't get hired left the room, they told us they wanted to hire us. They had us sign the background form and availability and told us they would call us in a week to start our orientation. One thing I really liked was the managers made us feel welcomed.

    Interview Questions

    • 1) Tell us a bit about yourself. 2) Tell us about a time you went up and beyond a customer? 3) Is the customer always right? (Note: you're supposed to say they're always right)   Answer Question
