Application

I applied online – interviewed at L'Oréal (Hoofddorp (Netherlands)).

Interview

I applied online on their corporate website and I was contacted within a week to schedule a meeting with the (junior) recruiter. After the first interview there is an interview with the marketing managers.

Interview Questions

Reasons for Declining

I did not appreciate the disrespectful behavior of the recruiter. She seemed disinterested throughout the interview. She was 20 min late did not apologize for it. Was overall very unfriendly wanted to only focus on your weaknesses. Very unprofessional she changed my perspective on L'oreal in a negative way.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at L'Oréal (Singapore (Singapore)) in April 2014.

    Interview

the interview process was rather quick. It started with phone interview with HR, followed by a brand manager. Later, i was called for a phone interview and another face to face interview with two other managers. I was given a choice between two divisions. The whole process took about two weeks (i.e. from first phone interview to contract signing). The interviews were quite casual and easy going.

    Interview

I applied online and got a phone call within a week to plan an interview at the HQ. There, I met with HR to talk about my history of education. The questions were pretty standard, about good/bad characteristics, where do you see yourself in 5 years, what do you expect of this internship, why should we hire you?

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Paris (France)

    Difficult Interview

    (Translated from English)

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at L'Oréal (Paris (France)) in January 2008.

    Interview

Although I was headhuntet for a position (rare for a company that normaly hires from own ranks) I had to go through 5 interviews and to personally tests.

First interview was a classic, tell us about you, strenghts and weaknesses, why did you change jobs...etc.
Second one, the game was stepped up and so forth until fifth interview.
By the time I was through, I had justified in depth knowledge of P&L accounts analysis, defending an imaginary marketing plan with a +25% spending vs today, shown my knowledge of the market in cross-check questions. Real tough panel discussion in the end.
