Interview Details – round 1 - written test(objective type) - 40 mechanical students shortlisted out of 90-95..
written test consists of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability....just like CAT, but level was easy compared to CAT.

round 2- interview(mainly technical) - question asked from your favorite subject..especially strength of materials, machine design etc. Question from summer training as well.

Interview Details – It was a campus recruitment drive. 45 students appeared in written test which consisted of an Aptitude test having 75 questions which were to be completed in one hour. Questions were simple. 21 students got selected for Interview round(there was no GD round). Out of 21, 16 appeared for interview. Finally 3 got selected.
The interview was of half an hour per student. The panel was of 2 persons. The questions they asked were very basic. They asked about area of interest then focused their whole interview around those subjects. Not much attention was paid to the industrial training. Some questions were from project. Not much stress was given on HR part.
I told Material Science and Thermodynamics as my favorite subjects. They asked very basic questions on Iron carbide diagram, mechanism involved in heat treatment processes, kelvin planck statement, refrigeration cycle, which law is applicable on IC engine and refrigerator, how carbon addition increases hardness of iron etc.

Interview Details – First round of aptitude test of 1 hour and then an interview of shortlisted candidates..Mine was for around 1 hour.Full technical plus your family background..(if any engineer then more interested)

Interview Details – Larsen & Toubro for campus recruitment follows a program called as Graduate Trainee Recuritments. Recruited students are inductated as Graduate Engineer Trainees.
College students in final year are interviewed for the same. The selection process is 3-4 stages spanning across 1-2 days. First the candidates are short listed based on academic performance. Students generally with first class in all semester/year and with only 1 oe 2 KTs are shortlisted for first stage of selection. Subsequently they are tested on their analytical, quantitative and interpretational abilities. Upon clearing this stage there are one or two rounds of interview. The interview is technical followed by technical or HR.

Negotiation Details – Generally for GET there is no negotation.

Interview Details – Two persons were seated in the panel.
They asked about me, my favorite subjects in engineering, and asked couple of technical questions and thats it.

Interview Details – Larsen and Toubro is probably one of the biggest Indian companies. L&T ECC/Construction as it is called now is the biggest construction compny in India. The interview though was kind of against that. My area of interest and the company strengths do not match and may be thats why the interviewer was clueless what to ask me. In the end it was an easy interview and I made through.
