    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Lenovo (Raleigh, NC) in June 2015.

    Interview

I am local, so after I applied online for two weeks, I was called for an interview onsite. They have only one round interview with a group of 5 people for an hour. There are project manager, hiring manager, solution architect, and two developers. Interview process: 1) Introduce the project background 2) Your turn to introduce yourself, your current work 3) Ask a few behavioral questions 4) Some technical questions based on how familiar with some specific aspect you claim to be excellent. 5) Any questions about the team or the position Overall, i feel a bit nervous when i see such a large group of people for interview, but they are very nice, so the whole process is quite pleasant.

    Interview Questions

    • Behavioral questions like what's the biggest achievement you've had so far? How do you spend your free time? etc. Technical questions, if you say you are good at Java, will be like whats the difference between ArrayList and HashMap? Why choose one over the other? etc   Answer Question

    Interview

I get this interview as I was in the undergraduate university in China. Three men sat in front of me but only one person asked the question. It last for one hour, some questions are about the technical knowledge, which is not hard. And some are just general questions that you can find on-line.

    Interview

Received a email from a recruiter, set up a phone interview. Waited 2 months for a face to face interview. In the face to face it was a 3 round process which was very different from what I have experienced in the past. Consisted of group interview, 1 on 1, and a presentation given to managers.

    Enterprise Account Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Louisville, KY

    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Lenovo (Louisville, KY) in January 2013.

    Interview

After networking my way through several contacts within Lenovo, I was highly disappointed in the overall experience with this organization. I completed a phone screen interview after leveraging 3 internal contacts for endorsements regarding the open position in a two state area. The phone screen was typical: we reviewed my resume, the role, and my history with technology sales experience. I was told due to my experience with Enterprise Accounts, my knowledge of the accounts & territory, and my previous partnering experience with Lenovo that I was a perfect fit for the role. The internal recruiter told me she would forward our conversation to the hiring manager, and I would hear back regarding a face to face interview within a week. After a week of no contact from Lenovo, I email my recruiter, with no response. So I called her directly, and she answered letting me know the manager was traveling and they were behind schedule, but I would have an answer in a few days. After multiple calls and unanswered voicemails & unanswered emails, i finally gave up on Lenovo.
