    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Lowe's (Bradenton, FL) in November 2014.

    Interview

The interview was rushed and mechanical. Meaning that their was no asking what i did for a former job or for school(as i am in college.) The interviewer was a half an hour late starting and received no apology. Most of the questions had NOTHING to do with the position i applied for. Since when does a receiver/stocker upsell a product WHEN THE STORE IS CLOSED(as that is when i would be working?) That made no sense. Also three interviews for a stocking position is a little excessive. ALSO cannot leave store for break (even through fire exit.) I doubt that is legal.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at Lowe's (Sikeston, MO) in February 2014.

    Interview

Interviewed in Sikeston, Missouri very plain and unprofessional interview full of questions asked from a piece of paper that looked to be a script. Also they seemed very racist as well I know for a fact that I was well qualified for this job with my past work experience but got a thanks but no thanks email. Im very eager to see who was chosen over me in the hiring process. But I would expect nothing less in the Rasict town of Sikeston, Missouri

    Receiver/Stocker Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Lowe's (Columbus, OH) in April 2013.

    Interview

It started after I applied, they gave a telephone call two days afterwards. I came in for an interview after that, and was hired on Monday. The interview was short, lasting about 30 minutes time with a member of HR as well as one of the managers of the store. The questions were as expected, general questions that you would expect in an interview. It was a simple process that didn't take very long and was effective at highlighting strengths and weaknesses.

    Interview Questions

    • One of the questions involved what your response was to a situation in which you had to satisfy a customer beyond their expectations. I asked since I didn't have experience if it could be with a friend in a classroom setting and they said yes.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I have school and needed vacation time the week after I started the job. They were very flexible with work until I finished school. They also gave me four days off so that I could take my vacation.
